Tim you are awesome at your job ! 42 years and still going, it’s great that Griff is now helping out and doing the plowing before you attach the blower. I recognize all of these areas.. especially the pond 👌❤️. I never knew that the blower had two chutes though. Very cool .. stay safe.

Great video! I definitely see the pros & cons between the plowing & blowing. This is slower but only needs one pass - could be better for the driveways you do. I like the top skirt - stops snow from being thrown to the left of the path! Great camera work too!

Thanks you!! We typically will blow both sides of the road if it's a bigger storm, but sometimes we can get away with one pass. The blade is fast for opening everything up usually and we can get everything set for the blower. Both very important to keeping the roads clear!

@@griffgranger same way as Caltrans, plow as much as you can until you run out of room, then blow off the shoulders so you can plow more.

I don't think my Kubota BX25 and its 50-inch front-mounted snowblower would be enough for the job. Would you like to swap your machine with mine?

With the latest storms the snow has been VERY WET. How do your machines handle that? Do you have to wait until it dry's out a little or business as usual?

Business as usual, the chute on the blower clogs easier if you're not careful. Thanks for watching!

One trick I've learned is to spray the chute with silicon spray before you blow. It helps prevent the chute from clogging.

Yes, usually we will go out with the blade afterwards to clean up. Just trying to get the bulk with the blower
Used to live on Donner Lake , sold out about mid 70s! Don't recognize this area
Gonna need aftermarket massive quick change batteries for the tail. No one is gonna drive back to the yard to charge, gotta bring em with ya. Better get after it and make them now and get rich.

Wow, not really a beast. Not even close. There are snowblowers that can blow up to 15000 tons of snow an hr. Cut through 6 ft of snow. Have two engines, 700hp each. One drive and one blower.
