I love watching this channel expanding the way it has! Those Glock Replicas are outstanding! I gave My brother a really cool Umarex Glock BB gun . It didn’t have blow back , but it felt like the real deal , and had the power to puncture a Lysol can at thirty feet .

I imagine the half-blowback is a design measure to extend the gun's life using the higher pressure of CO2; less travel length limits the rearward slide velocity and thus the force of its impact upon the frame. I appreciate you having your son shoot you in the interest of science.

I love that you're doing this with your boy! I got into airsoft when I was 9 years of age, but you doing this with your kid at this age is actually very responsible. Getting kids into airsoft teaches them about proper weapon mechanics and firearm safety while still maintaining a level of interest for your child. It's one of the best ways you can keep your kid safe. Props to you man! Keep up the good work! P.S. I own the $180 19X as well as the real one. They are by far some of the best pistols you can purchase.

Thanks so much for the compliment 💪🏽. This was the greatest opportunity to teach him and have fun at the same time. Oh and I totally agree with you about the 19x being such an awesome pistol. I don’t own any real glocks. It’s funny actually, I was never a fan of the look and design of the glock for the longest time. It wasn’t until we got into the Airsoft sport where I began to really appreciate their style.

Yeah I changed it a couple weeks back because we are phasing out Nerf a little and moving it to the Vlog Channel @RT Vlogs we will still do some nerf but as you can tell it’s very little

Hi! In the video you mentioned if green gas hits hard well co2 PSI (pounds per square inch) is around 852 while green gas is about 300 psi it all varies depending on how you store it and how they are manufactured but in short co2 hits almost double as hard or at least should with higher end guns sick video tho!

Nice review! I would personally say the $180 one is better, i also have realised trigger pull plays a large role. I have a glock which makes my fingers tired from shooting 1 mag, each pull my whole arm will shake after about 2 mags and it makes it shoot less accurate since the gun moves more. Amazing video, the editing is nice!

Yeah, when it comes to being realistic the 180$ option is the best hands down. But I don’t mind the $100 version at all. And thanks for the comment on the edit. This video was a bit different so I wasn’t pleased with the edit. But I think I found ways to improve the next comparison video. We don’t do that style often so I’m still learning different editing tricks for it

I'm trying to figure out the difference between the 2 since C02 ones are advertised as just "blowkback" I would like a full but think I prefer the carts over the cans of green gas. Other difference I saw was size of BB's, green gas are plastic 6mm and c02 are .177 metal bb's? Any ideas about this? Thanks

The half blowback versions are not advertised as “half” but you can tell by the price. If the price is around $100 then it’s half blowback, if it cost around $170 then it’s probably full blowback

did both take metal bbs? nd if so did the full blowback shoot good with the metal ones bc the manual says it take plastic ones buh im conflicted, dk if i should get the metal or plastic for full blowback

They both shot the plastic Airsoft bbs. At least the two models we reviewed were the plastic bb version. But you have to make sure you know which one you’re buying at the store

No they will not interchange. The half blow back option is a little wider. We are out of town right now, but if you can wait until we get back home we can make a short showing how the will not interchange. But it might be next weekend if you can wait

I got the WE tech glock 23 full blowback metal slide polymer frame 20 shot full metal magazine double stack full/semi auto for 120 euros and its really nice and cool, its also green gas and cheaper than the 19x i think

I agree, I like how the SplatRBall feeds like ammo through the mag similar to Airsoft. They are definitely the better product but they are not cheap

Personally I just love the slide function on the full blow backs more than the half ones. I have several GBB pistols all co2 and they all have such satisfying slide back action like I could play with them all day just like that no gas or bb’s lol. I also have a couple half blowbacks cause they’re usually like a third or half the price so they’re really inexpensive and they usually have better gas efficiency tho it really depends on the gun. I have a umarex walther p99 that’s a half blow back and it only goes through like 100 rounds before the gas runs out. I have another umarex full GBB pps m2 that’s super gas efficient and can go through more than 200 rounds before the co2 runs low. I would get a non blow back one cause they are super cheap and tend to be decent quality but you just don’t get that satisfying slide back and that’s what I love most about pistols.

I know they tend to be a lot weaker but they’re also pretty cheap and you don’t have to spend like 50cents per cartridge just get some rechargeable batteries and you’re good. I have 1 but I only use it in my room to shoot at one of those sticky targets that catches all the bb’s it’s good fun, a lot more than just a springer.

My dad is about to buy me a glock 19x blowback or was it half? Idk but hes gunna buy me one in December im excited!

No, the mags do not interchange. I know all the Green Gas Full blowback models interchange with each other but you can’t interchange the half blowback with the full blowback

I just use the Crosman brand Co2’s. I can get them pretty cheap from Walmart. And bb’s I use a minimum of .20g for the bbs. Especially if it’s just to have fun to play with around the house .20 should be perfect.

Yes both models had adjustable hop up on them I don’t recall which is located where. All I can remember is one had the hop adjustment on the round dial under the orange tip of the barrel or if it had the adjustment on the top part of the slide.

You know I have never weighed them. I would assume the half blowback. It’s the heavier one without the magazine but the full blowback has the heavier mag so it almost balances out when the mags are in

The easiest way to know if you are physically at the store is the half blowback is sold in a clear plastic package and the full blowback version is sold in a tan colored cardboard box. If you’re looking online the two main difference you can spot are. One the price, there is usually about an $80 difference in price and two visual difference is the magazine. The CO2 half blowback has the extended portion on the bottom of the magazine and the full GGBB sits almost even with the bottom of the grip. If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

But you are correct I had a tough time figuring out the difference prior to our purchase. Of course we bought the green gas one first and when I saw that I could have bought on online for $80 cheaper I immediately bought it. To my surprise when we received it I later learned it was a half blowback

I’m noticing shortages here in the state too. We had to wait like 3 months before the glock 18c was in stock again from our local shop we get them from.

That are both amazing options they each have their pros and cons but for half the price the half blowback might be my choice. For the cost of the full blowback I would rather get a hicapa

I wonder what the actual reasoning if for them to have them. It seems like your allowed to change them out once you own them 🤷‍♂️ but I’m not an expert in the law

I will definitely add it to our list, we will get to it I’m just not sure how soon, since we get so many recommendations. But we always do our best to get to them as soon as we can

I recently moved to a place where I really can’t go shoot my actual Glock (my everyday carry) so I’m hoping buying the full blowback model will allow me to train in my yard and more importantly practicing clearing my home and cqb scenarios with my wife so she knows how to defend our kids at home if needed. Do you think dry firing it for inside purposes will damage the gun? I’m un familiar with the power of air soft guns, would a bb damage a wall from this if I can’t dry fire?

I do believe dry firing these would still mess with the internals. Moreover without bbs in the magazine the slide will remain in the open position (similar to a real pistol out of ammo). You can disengage the slide lock but when you pull the trigger again it will just lock in the open position again. It will get very annoying for training purposes. Now on to the bbs. Yes these do shoot hard enough to damage a wall. One or two shots might get by unnoticed but you will begin to see the bb’s indentions with multiple rounds fired in the same target area. Shooting with a loaded mag would be ideal for training but you may want to consider setting up some form of target to shoot at so you don’t damage any walls. But I would recommend getting a full blowback version. It will be the most realistic to the real counterpart

I like the blowback one more the half blow back is kinda annoying cause its not realistic and I'd rather have no blow back than half blow back

That’s valid reasoning for sure. I did notice that the half blowback model didn’t recoil back every time it was fired
