In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

The path of the air is not shaped like a tesla valve at all. The flow through the center of the straws never has to make a sharp turn. Friction increases when more straws are added and there are also more leakage points. The straws still would not be effective if they were turned around. It also looks like he thought "small hole, high velocity" which is completely wrong with what basically amounts to a flow from a constant pressure reservoir. Having a smaller hole increases the velocity when there is a constant mass flow rate, not when there is a constant pressure source.

I'm surprised nobody just put a bucket on top of the candle with a camera inside to catch the moment the flame went out and just ran. Would've made the top distance easily. Take a a similar candle support and be sure to lock it into a very stable base that will not move as all when an objects hits it hard. Be sure you do not make any air currents with the objects hitting the candle assembly. You will see the candle doesn't blow out because is not the impact with the floor is the air currents that quickly extinguish it...the air currents from the motion of thecandle assembly that was pulled down.

@@ElGoogKO so you're saying there's no way a flame cant be separated enough to stop the chemical reaction happening and every other force is weaker than a light blow of air? What about starving it of oxygen. That's not blowing it out and yet it goes out. There's no way you can test it without the flame moving through the air. Maybe with a high speed camera. To see what takes it out first. I still think it's possible. Of course it wont go out in your hypothetical setup. You need momentum to create separation.
