Thanks for video. This has me excited. I got the car from my wife who wanted a Mazda. So I' did what any man would do, and installed a a golf R turbo, infercooler DP and tune. Not cat back this thing is a sleeper. Would love to get a blow off valve for me to relive my jdm days.

No you don't have to go aftermarket with the intake when putting on the blow off valve I just did for a more performance and a better turbo note

That is not a blow off valve!! It’s an atmospheric diverted valve spacer

No, you can just add it if you want, but know it may sound better with a cold air intake

Did you get any error codes? I did the same install and got a code. Wondering if i did something wrong

No I have never gotten any codes from doing that install. I'd go back and check to see if everything is plugged in like on the little sensor and also that everything is tighten down. Take note I also have a tune so I don't know if that will make a difference it shouldn't but I'm not a 100 percent sure.

No its not that bad you may try taking off a few extra parts for a little room as well but for the most part it's an easy install

These spacers have been known to spray a small amount of oil over time but some cases are bad and there is quite a noticeable amount coming out on some vehicles. Maybe ask what he means instead of immediately trying to belittle someone.

Nick_J Okay So the question that i have is if you a fluttering sound from the turbo when you let off the gas will that cause premature turbo wear? I am here Fransua this will not unless you are getting turbo flutter Nick_J Do you mean turbo flutter during acceleration?
