For those wanting to know how I secure tips to my little magnetic stands, I simply use Brush-on Glue - bit.ly/1RMXefl It is really strong but will come off without cracking the tip, you just need to use a little bit of force.

It's funny you mention this. I've been looking for the video where you talk more about them (the stands). I'm preparing several sets to use on vacation using Duck Tape, duck ;), and chopsticks. This method works okay but I would love to have the stability of your setup. It's been so long since I watched that video and I can't find it. Did you say you used a chess piece? I think that's right.

Also, in the event you read this: I start every weekday morning having coffee and watching your video after feeding the cat. Sometimes I get out my nail supplies and spend a few hours watching your older vids and just hanging out with you and Adam. I wouldn't have called that base color "envy." I would have called it British Racing Green. It's the color of virtually every MG I ever saw as a child. Lovely design, and so easy!

By the way I have the same stand I use sticky tack to hold the nails on my stand while I’m learning but I don’t have to do tutorials so...may not work for that but it’s the same stuff i used to stick stuff to my dorm walls with (because you can’t put nails in cement or holes in the wall if you want your deposit back lol) but it’s easy to adhere and to remove sort of like a mixture of clay and chewing gum in consistency if that helps. Thanks for the tutorials I’m learning so much from you!
