The language is Hindi. Exact translation is "Live, brave one." It was one of their older track. You should listen to AAJ by them. And for clean vocals, you can try Yaad by them. It's about loss of a pet.

The translations are pretty spot on. It can be hard to catch grammatical differences, but using the subs to work on my pronunciation is my m.o.

Many people have made similar comments like yours "I do not usually like rap [or growling] but...". Raoul the rapper does indeed have a nice voice and Jayant (growls and occasionally clears too) manages to sound quite melodic even in the more raspy scream sections :)

My Son-in-law recently discovered these guys and has sent me a couple videos to watch, so this is good timing for your reaction. I really like their unique form of metal, but will one of their songs make my playlist? I'll need to sift through more of their stuff before I decide that. Good review!

Gaddar has the best clean vocals from raoul kerr, would definitely recommend check that out, very Awesome dudes the whole band 10/10 recommend

I really liked this one. Great initiative at the end, great music, interesting mixing of styles, and a great message, which is very stoic by the way. I've been studying depression for quite a while since I also struggled with it not long ago. It's a complex disease with multiple root causes that requires multiple and simultaneous approaches to overcome. PS: I would like to thank Basil for choosing this one. I think it is a great idea to bring more songs like this from all countries in the world, with a lot of folk elements, to challenge our comfort zone, including my own. Imagine how many good bands are spread all over the world in places such as Africa, the middle east, and Asia that the rest of the world never learned about.

Bloodywood is a great band all around, but one of their best aspects is that they sing about, well, very important stuff and keep it pretty straight forward, not hiding the meaning in endless layers of abstraction. Sure, there is always space for one more love song, but personally I really like the way this band takes a stand and sing about depression, coping with the loss of a pet or taking a stand against sexual abuse like Bloodywood.

@@IdiotPosterBoy I suppose there is space for both types of lyrics. When a message is hidden behind layers of abstraction it works kinda like a puzzle, which is nice to make you think about it for much longer. When the meaning is explicit, it is also nice because you can capture it right away. I personally like both equally.

Raoul is definitely working the lower end of his range with this one. As BW does all their own recording/mixing, etc, their techniques has improved over the past couple years. Machi Bhasad is one step up, and Aaj, Ari Ari, Gaddaar, and Dana Dan just wonderful. The most important part of BW, for me, is how positive and inclusive these folks are. Raoul helped found the No Flag movement before he was involved in BW, and it's still in his blood. Please give them a couple more listens. They need all the exposure we all can give them

Both (rapper and vocalist) gives compliment to each other. And make good music.

Bloodywood is my second fave band (Zeal and Ardor is my number 1). These dudes are amazing, there’s a really good documentary about there first European tour that’s super good good too. You should check out Dana-Dan. Edit: never mind. I love growl metal. I was super stoked to find gay metal heads, but your metal is weak 🤷🏽‍♀️😩😉

Metal is metal we should support each other even if you don't like the same sub genre as us. We get enough hate from without we should not divide ourselves up to make it easier to dishearten us

You should react to Uaral, a Chilean Folk Doom Metal band. The lyrics are difficult to find but in "DWJJ's Metal Lyrics" channel you can find them correctly transcribed :) . Great reaction 👏🏻

@@AmberandCharisseReact I would recommend 4 songs to choose from -Surrendered To The Decadence in its demo version (1997) -Eternal Beauty Of The Trees (2005) which is their most "brutal" song in terms of instrumentation. -Sounds Of Pain (2005), of long duration (almost 20min) but full of emotions and beautiful instrumentation. -Eterno en mí [Eternal in me] (2007) The most emotional song and considered an anthem for the band's fans.
