@@LowDarts The funny thing is, I was never a fan of Super Tramp. But I have an appreciation for musicians that can arrange and put together a band that employs dynamics, strategically. That goes for cover bands also. There is an awful lot of work that goes into individual practice and collective rehearsal. You have a bright future. I listened to some of the Elton John stuff as well. Quite good. I have faith that you will be writing your own songs going forward. It takes a big brain, a leap of faith and a ton of hard work to succeed in the music BUSINESS. There are so many musicians out there that fall by the wayside because of............life. I'm a huge fan of Bruce Hornsby, Peter Frampton and their ability to hold that musical integrity together well after international fame. Hopefully, you can emulate Taylor Swift, (I'm not a big fan but who cares) make your own path, keep your integrity in check as well as the money flow. Best of luck to you!!

It is not particularly easy to keep up that kind of keyboard shuffle while singing, either. Yes, it takes natural talent. I’ve seen people practice for years and never get it. I think it’s a brain hemisphere phenomena. Some just have a knack for it, and I think it’s because those people have extraordinary communication between left and right (hemispheres).

Who else randomly clicked and watched the entire video? I love Supertramp! They absolutely nailed it. All on point and so in tune with one another. So happy to see a much younger generation covering a legendary band. I nearly listen to Supertramp few times a week on my classic rock playlists. Thank you for sharing this, and thank you cover band, well done 💯👏

I’m reading this as I listen to the intro and it’s literally just two chords. The verse is three chords. The chorus is four chords (although one could argue that one of them isn’t really playing an important role). Harmonically, this is a pretty simple song. It’s still a great song, and the soloing and arrangement have a big part in that.

I agree! Supertramp music is not just simple progression and chord phrasings either- these young kids all pulling it together and sounding fantastic doing it too!

There are so many details in this performance that made it top notch that most people will just take for granted: guitar tones, the mix was VERY well done, the voices, the confidence... Those stops! Man this is good stuff. And lookie... No big fancy expensive equipment either. These kids know how to use what they got!

I heard that song a million times while in my teens. I even saw them do it live in concert in Stockton CA. To hear it done so faithfully by a bunch of teens speaks volumes for their talent dedication and love of all music. Best wishes to em all.

I’m very impressed. I’m 43 so this genre predates me by a little bit but have a sister that’s 19 years older than me, so I grew up listening to this stuff. To see kids young enough to be my own not only listening to this, but playing it to this level is truly something. Liked and subscribed.

I can't say how good my heart feels seeing these kids playing this song. Not only did they think enough of the music to learn it, but they absolutely killed it! 61yr this May, with 45yrs on bass. This was one of go-to albums when I was 15-16, and still is one of my favorite albums! These kids taste in music is almost unheard of for their age(s) now, so I give them extra respect for that on top of their abilities! 👊😎

It’s so cool that this generation can appreciate the music from an earlier generation. For a very young band they did an excellent job! SuperTramp is some of the best music to drive to, if you are driving in back roads with twisty bends. Loved that band!!

I bought Crime of the Century in 1975 the summer I graduated from high school. That album blew me away. So nice to see that Supertramp is still popular. These kids nailed it!!
