He’s gonna need to up his game. We’ve come to expect a certain level of sausage. Also the way to cook a sausage without having to poke holes is to cook sausage from a cold pan, not put it in hot. Much fewer bursts.

I've watched a lot of Mr. Sausage's sausages...and one thing I've noticed is that the ones with high bread or cracker content tend to be the ones to burst. Not always...but I think it's something about the bread/cracker absorbing liquids and expanding while it's cooking. Not sure the fix to this...but it seems to be the main cause for most of these bursts in my opinion.

Hes gotta squeeze the meat into the tail of the casing before he ties it up. In fact I think making it links makes it worse because it adds pressure

I like how when the sausage bursts, he just sings to it like it's gonna help it reverse burst, or maybe just to comfort it during it's last moments before complete sausage death 😌

Rumor has it that if you say Bloody Mary Sausage three times in the mirror, Mr. Sausage appears and makes you his next video subject,

unlucky with the burstage, but maybe the crackers are expanding. Simiilar things have happened when there's a lot of starch (usually from wheat)

Came here to post this too, starchy carb-based foods seem to wreck sausage casings. Which is slightly frustrating considering how it limits viable sausage options. As you pointed out, the crackers in this one are indeed expanding because once they're ground into powder and introduced to liquids it tries to form a dough, and then the heat from the frying pan expands it. I think either slightly larger pieces of the carbs could work, or extruding thinner sausages into the casings so there's more room to grow as they cook.

We've already seen so many all liquid sausages that just instantly burst or are inedible. Same with powder sausages. Funny at first, but it gets stale. Adding the meat at least gives the concept a new twist even if it fails to live up to water sausage levels of views/subs
