Bloody Daddy is an adaptation of 2011 French film Sleepless Night, which itself was remade in Tamil as Thoongaa Vanam starring Kamal Haasan. Also 2017 film Sleepless starring Jamie Foxx is also an adaptation of the same sleepless night movie.
