Los gritos de Splinter alertaron a los hermanos haciendo que estos despertarán de su siesta y se dirigieran a la habitación de su padre, al llegar se encontraron la habitación desordenada y a su padre en el suelo, Rafa se dirigió de inmediato a él para ayudarlo pero ya era demasiado tarde.
Donato (Donnie) se encontraba en su laboratorio rastreando la localización de Leo pero la señal de alerta detuvo su búsqueda, al momento de desactivarla un gruñido a su espalda llamo su atención, al girar su vista se topo con una criatura que de sin pensarlo lo ataco. No paso mucho para que Donato callera rendido ante la criatura, trataba de zafarse de su agarre pero era en vano estaba perdiendo mucha sangre hasta el punto de creer que miraba a su "gemelo". Pasaron las horas, sus hermanos habían encontrado su cuerpo y el único a lado de el era Michael (Mikey) quien esperaba a que él mayor de los cuatro regrese mientras que solo se escuchaban los pitidos de una de las maquinas de Donato.
Han pasado 2 años desde lo ocurrido, Rafa nunca volvió a las alcantarillas, Michael había descubierto que dentro de la maquina que se escuchaba aquella vez permanecía un holograma de Donato que mantenía guardada todas sus memorias. Actualmente Michael le había ayudado a Donato a crearle un cuerpo robótico para que este pudiera moverse por su cuenta ya que antes Michael lo transportaba con sigo en el viejo brazalete de su hermano.

Splinter's screams alerted the brothers causing them to wake up from their nap and go to their father's room, upon arrival they found the room in disorder and their father on the floor, Rafa immediately went to him to help him but already it was too late.
Donato (Donnie) was in his laboratory tracking Leo's location but the alert signal stopped his search, when he deactivated it a growl behind him caught his attention, when he turned his eyes he ran into a creature that without thinking about it I attack. It didn't take long for Donato to fall for the creature, he tried to get out of his grip but it was in vain he was losing a lot of blood to the point of believing that he was looking at his "twin". Hours passed, his brothers had found his body and the only one next to him was Michael (Mikey) who waited for the oldest of the four to return while only the beeps of one of Donato's machines were heard .
Two years have passed since what happened, Rafa never returned to the sewers, Michael had discovered that inside the machine that was being heard that time there was a hologram of Donato that kept all his memories. Currently Michael had helped Donato create a robotic body for him so that he could move on his own since Michael used to carry him with him in the old bracelet of his brother.

Hahaha! I know this AU thing is sad but it is necessary for what I tell in the comic. I too am excited about what I have planned for his future.

After wacthing three of your video about this au, i think that the *thing* that hurt Mikey eye, killed Splinter and attack Donnie was Leo but who got transformed as a wild "animal" and as you said that this au is called *travelling between the universe* it is perhaps, that when leo was travelling between the universe he got in a *accident* that transformed him.

1°- I like the idea that you put that it is another Leo from another universe, that would have been cool haha 2°- Leo himself didn't have an accident (that video is like a mini proof of idea for the AU). The travel between universes let's say that it is a way to develop it without as much pain as in the movie XD. And the thing that attacked them you go specifically for Leo (that's why everything he does to his family too, he just wants to torment him more) I plan to explain it later in an animation along with a part of the comic
