I have a lot of respect for rugby but the level of arrogance from rugby fans regarding the purity of their game has always been sickening and has in recent months been revealed to be utter rubbish. Burger's gouging, Bath's love of Class A drugs and the "Bloodgate" scandal has seen to that. Rugby's a hard sport played by tough men so lets enjoy it for what it is and stop harping on about how rugby players are so much more honourable than footballers because they are as good and bad as each other.

cheating and a direregard for fairplay is an endemic problem in English rugby.I don't care that an englishman invented the game what I respected was the english sense of fairplay in sport(hence the many rules which make english sports so successful).Racism is not relevant.I personally would like to see english rugby and english behaviour return to its own ideals.
