The air conditioning story is called 'Cool Air', and it revolves around a guy who lives in the same apartment building as an air conditioning zombie. The dude used a cocktail of chemicals to keep himself "alive" that only worked at low temperatures, so he got an early AC unit and used it to cool his apartment to the right temperatures. It works until the AC breaks and he melts into a puddle of horribleness.

Since we are in a bloodborne video, I pictured Max0r's misshaped bones acting as the case, cables made out of tendons, pumping muscles keeping the flow of blood, and organs intertwined inside his new "ribcage", where instead of electricity his blood flows inside the grotesque machinery leaving eternally dripping puddles of distilled red and the scent of rust. His malformed head adorning where you could guess was the CPU, his teeth all lined up where the RAM should be, and his mushy brain acting as the storage unit. He no longer clicks, he wills. He no longer edits, he thinks. He no longer gets footage, he breathes. And when it's all done? The perfect gory circuitry that holds his conciousness prisoner rewards him again, a sharp dose of hormones, a momentary relief from his eternal and consistent agony, and when it runs out? He creates more. Imagine Master from Fallout 1 but ramp it to Bloodborne's insanity.

A bit story about Kos and the fishing hamlet. byrgenwerth didn't kill Kos,she actually ascended into higher plane of existence. However her body stays and one day it somehow wash a shore at fishing hamlet. Fishing hamlet people worship it because her corpse still contain great one power and they turn mad because of it(madman knowledge). Byrgenwerth notice this and so they ventures there to discover that fishing hamlet people were hostile to them(because they knew byrgenwerth is chasing after Kos body) and so they order hunters to neutralise them,after that byrgenwerth scholar kidnap fishing hamlet people and doing inhuman experiment on them. Kos from higher plane of existence get angry at this and so she curses all the blood drunk hunters to be doomed forever in hunters nightmare.

There isn't much evil in Lovecraft's stories (aside from Nyarlathotep) and all the dread comes from the idea that these immensely powerful alien beings that live very close to us could wipe us all out without much effort and the only reason they haven't is a combination of not noticing something so insignificant as humanity and that the opportunity cost of exterminating us is higher than the opportunity cost of doing something else.

Max0r, you made me laugh so hard I nearly fainted. Finally got me out of a long, depressing, aimless existence. So thanks.

The lore for the last part of the game is literally "OH MY GOD, WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE SHUT UP THAT CRYING BABY?! IT'S DRIVING US ALL CRAZY!!" And before that, the lore was "There's invisible God-things everywhere, but normal people can't see anything wrong because of a retarded spider at the bottom of a lake which makes the whole city dumber just by existing."

'Filled with squids, immigrants, and air conditioning' had me rolling. Lovecraft was an.... interesting dude. For those that dont know, the air conditioning bit isnt a joke. Lovecraft really did write a book where that was the 'cosmic horror' behind the plot. edit: as Tyler Cunningham mentions below, the name of the story is 'Cool Air' for those interested.
