There's something missing. Just let Blakkheim take over the vocals. I reckon he'd live up to Tagtgren and Akerfeldt.

This version need something called RAW fucking ENERGY ! this is a sad doom version , Like Fire is supposed to be a headbanging "i am going to kill something or someone " track.. not this sad slow attempt.

Totally agree! This is just disappointing after the great legacy they had with the previous two vocalists. They couldn't hire somebody better than this?!

This dude doesn't even sound like he's growling it sounds like he's smoked one too many cigs.

1/4 more tempo and a different singer would make it better. Even i would sing it better and i am not in any band and never will be.

@@sebastianconcha1412 no lo creo, nick holmes tiene una voz muy unica, pero es diferente a la de mikael u otros anteriores vocalista. Por ejemplo algo muy a destacar de zu voz es como pronuncia las palabras y su tono oscuro. Es otro estilo de gutural simplemente y a mi los dos últimos álbumes me han gustado mucho. Akerdfelt ya dejo los growls, dejen descansar al pobre hombre

@Jesus Cristo bueno coincido en que podría ser mejor.. supongo que es cuestion de gustos, a mi es que me encanta nick holmes, y paradise lost (aunque sean estilos diferentes)

Low energy vocals. Terrible. Åkerfeldt was so much better.

Woah shit, I have read the comments before listening and I now have to fully agree, the vocalist sounds horrible.

@@blakkno666 I feel for ya man..to be all psyched to see PL do some classic songs live and then to only get clean vocals, I saw an Opeth concert on TV that was when they did only clean vocals and it was the most boring concert. I think when they reach that point of not being able to do it anymore...leave it at the stance it is and don't try to continue and ruin the legacies of their awesome days of their glory days vocal wise...
