Hello doctor thanks for the information. I recently went to pee and noticed pink urine followed by a dull pain in my left testicle.

I had a second cystoscopy today 5/12/21 this time with dilation of urethral stricture. I had blood in my urine that was microscopic. Your video is very informative. Thank you

Hello doctor please help!!!.I had this discharge of blood (like drops)before peeing,but my urine color is not red but normal. The red(blood) discharge came out before peeing and had held my pee for too long and when I did pee there were this discharge of blood drops before the pee came out.Apparently I have an outbreak of genital herpes.can this be the cause?I did urinalysis like 2 months ago and my urine was clear.I’m so scared right now

Hi, appreciate if anyone could help here. Does blood in urine necessarily mean pink urine or coloured urine? I observed a patch/ spot in normal urine while peeing. Im confused if its spotting but im also worried. Can someone confirm if UTI means different coloured blood or even observing a stain in urine be UTI too?

Hard to say with the information provided.The color of urine can become darker in situations such as heat injury, heat exhaustion.Make sure he hydrates well.Irritation can be many things especially if it is painful.If he continues to have symptoms contact your health care provider to rule out a urinary tract infection

Thanks. Doctor did urine test found blood. Did CT scan and ruled out kidney stone but stool stuck in colon and pain that causes right side of abdominal pain. Is this cause blood in urine?

Anatomically speaking that would be unlikely as the GI tract and the urogenital tract are separate from each other.

@@ThinkYourHealth , many thanks. But GP doctor said due to this condition (stool stuck in colon) the surrounding walls might have been rubbed or inflamed. Hence the microscopic blood in urine that can’t be seen to bare eyes. Should i have to retest my urine sample again?. Thanks for your help

After a cystoscopy you may have blood in the urine.If it continues discuss with your doctor esp if associated with increased urinary symptoms and/or abdominal pain.

Is it also due to early pregnancy? If someone got it during ovulation time.

You could have bleeding during ovulation, this is called spotting.it could be a sign of early pregnancy.You can take an early pregnancy test. If however, it is spotting it should only last 1-2 days.If longer especially coupled with symptoms reach out to your Doctor.

If you have gross hematuria, it's already at a 25% chance of bladder cancer! 46. Smoker since age 12. A week of gross hematuria. Nightsweats occasionally. For a month have been waking up every night 4-6× to pee. My gross hematuria also has blood clots and large tissue. Radical hysterectomy done 6 years ago. Have lost 16 pounds in 2 weeks, not on a diet. Seeing an urologist in 2 days. Pretty sure I have bladder cancer.

What is after a CT scan, MRI and cystoscopy the reason was not found ? A benign urachial cyst in the bladder was found but it was said this would not be the cause of blood

It could be as you sated due to vigorous exercise and partly water loss through perspiration.Have a discussion with your Doctor to make sure it is nothing else as she/he is aware of your medical history.

What if you had a hernia

Things you might want to rule out are as sometimes protein in urine can cause specks .Rule out bladder or kidney stones.If it is a urinary tract infection a simple urine analysis can be done and if need be a urine culture.Certain sediments may cause black specks. If you need to rule out kidney stones start of with a kidney ultrasound.

Yes I got my dr did urine test in my report comes he found in blood it’s high but I’m worried about I’m only 35 now but my dr hasn’t give me negative feedback but I see his face when he saw my reports he’s worried 😧 so I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ what will come next he want again my urine test after 2 weeks

The use of NSAIDS can cause bleeding.NSAIDS can irritate your stomach.Your doctor will have to work up other causes of bleeding in the urine as well.

Follow up with your Doctor who can do testing if deemed necessary.There are more likely reasons for blood in the urine.For the most part it is something less serious, however, you do want to exclude something bad going on with your body.

Blood in the urine is indeed frightening.Work up should always include a longer differential to exclude pathologies which might have poor outcomes

Was the +++ for blood? Usually, in case like this, given your age I would repeat the test to verify the results.If it is indeed verified that would need further investigation.
