Love how Magic jokingly scares Miklo, like the first time he scared him in the cafeteria

Love how everyone involved in the making of the movie had a little participation, the dude complaining about Popeye docking him for a third of his check is Freddy Negrete, he was the tattoo artist who did all the temporary tattoos for everyone in the movie. Also Adan Hernandez who made all of Cruzito’s paintings has a participation as Gilbert in the painting gallery scene.

Miklo truly is, in this script, the Michael Corleone of Latin flicks. Most of the flicks of this genre arent that great, especially the stuff the Miklo actor did later, but this movie really holds it's weight. Great flip at the end: Miklo (Michael) truly was La Onda (La Familia Corleone).

I can literally rewatch this movie over and over. I dont even have to watch it, as long as i hear the audio i cam picture it all

I grew up in the 90s... This movie is one of the top of my list.

I truly believe that the actress that played chata really made the movie come to life. I don’t know why she wasn’t at least nominated for an academy award.

I always love people who hang up the payphone before they hang up the phone.

I swear this movie runs in my blood all my life even just turning 44 Saturday

So Popeye later winds up on a bus that has to stay above 50 mph or will blow up.....and Miklo trains in martial arts and teams up with Ryu. They both moved on to better things :)
