fantastic! thanks for the high praise! :)
That was absolutely the greatest medieval Lego war film I have ever seen. Ever. The animation was flawless, the voice work was perfect for each character, and the music chosen was great. This is a true masterpiece...made of pieces of Lego.

Oh man. This is incedible. Fantastic work on the special effects, and even better work on the animation. Few brickfilms have the look of being a real movie, but this one definitely does. Every little nuance that was added, every way the story was told made this wonderful. Speaking of the story, I loved that as well. Another thing most brickfilms lack is a great story. This is one of the most well-made brickfilms I've seen in a long time. Congratulations.
This deserves more views awsome film.

A very good video and story. The animation is superb. I'd love to see a remake of this story with the updated LEGO Castle/Knights/Kingdoms minifigures.
Wow. Smooth animation, voice acting, sound effects, after effects, ... this is like the "300" of lego videos. Very well done.

Its like Warriors in medieval form!!! Amazing vid
This is Epic!
This is wonderful video
Absolutely amassing
Great stuff! love some of the techniques, the background movement blurs and the spear wobble especiall!
Love it! It has a very cinematic feel to it, with great effects, and your effects weren't cheesy, rather, they enhanced the overall film. The landscape/background could have utilized more actual LEGO, but I really like your take on it. The only thing I had issue with was the voices. But the fight scenes and attention to detail is superb. Absolutely loved the bending spear as it flew through the air!
Dam this is EPIC
only a crazy, blind, mental A** whole would dislike this perfect awesome fantastic peice of art
great film , short and sweet, lots of action, well choreographed fight sequences!, solid, realistic (as realistic as lego can be) animation, and of course the fabulous special effects, i imagine there was a lot of green/blue screen to put the lego men on the to the backdrops (very well composited , i might add) i especially love the end battle scene, with the faded figures fighting in the background behind for the smoke/ dust and lego figures fighting in the foreground. I am a fellow animator, and am wanting to do more special effects (like compositing) and i have recently been playing around with green screen. unfortunately i do not own photoshop or after effects :( the programmes i use are FCPX and hit film 3 express could you offer any tips or advice on doing special effects ? -thanks

+legobuilderfrom2000 late reply incoming! Thanks for the kind words. To be honest this was pretty much my first real compositing job and I learned alot from it. Number one is just having a really good lighting and greenscreen setup (I used bluescreen alot for this actually if I recall correctly). Make sure the bg color doesn't spill over too much into your characters by lighting them separately as much as you can. Honestly this just takes practice like anything else. I would recommend watching tutorials online and do lots of small very short projects instead of big ones. Also if you want to get better at the actual animation I recommend you check out 'AlanBeckerTutorials' youtube series called '12 principles of animation', and apply them in your stopmotion. Most importantly have fun with it and good luck!

+Jumpkut thanks , very helpful tips Especially the one about doing small vfx heavy projects before tackling bigger ones ( I have tried to start complex vfx videos when I should probably do small test videos first , working out how to do the effects) and I will definitely check out the channel for animation tips. Lastly having fun while trying out new complex things and doing anything creative is a great tip and one I need to remember

Epic.
Amazing!!! The special effects and the animation were both extremely well done! Could you please put up a "making of" video showing the steps you took to get this final copy? Also, what programs did you use for your animation/special effects?
good job this was a great showcase of talent, you guys should pursue this further. best of luck!
Awesome! The fight sequence is full of win and hilariousness. And then ending: I had a feeling that would happen. Voice acting could be a bit better though. Also, lol at the two guys with dual swords fight and one guy beheads the other only to then catch a spear to the gut. :D
Nice!
una sola parola :STUPENDO
Epic
Beautiful animation. The ending perfectly shows the futility of war.
I just realized I spelled deserve wrong. But nontheless, I truly mean what I said. This is the smoothest and best lego stopmotion in existence. A legendary story as well, I am shocked by the fact this has eighty thousand views. It deserves 80 million.
