Does having capped runic power do anything negative ? Or just missing out on dps for not using it?

Nothing bad, but you should always use it as a filler. Spend your Deathstrike only for healing after high incoming dmg, not for dps-increase (even if it does a lot of it :P ) ... it is even increased by runic power - but it is better to waste RP then spending runes for DS and not beeing able to compensate the incoming dmg when needed

You want to rune strike as much as possible to avoid being capped as long as you cant use death strike, as rune strike has a chance to proc runic empowerment giving you back runes to do more death strikes. From a survivability standpoint you want to always be able to cast as many death strikes as possible and your rotation will build around that. You generally dont want to starve yourself of Runic Power though so you cant use different cds that require it.

Thats the point of the macro. So you can cast ghoul and if you need the heal you press it when you need it using the same keybind.

Does this guy play dk at all? Bone shield lasts for 2 minutes or 6 attacks and army of the dead summons the ghouls during the channel not at the end.

sorry but you have some key ability's missing from this guide, through our passive Runic Empowerment our runestrike has a 45% chance to instantly regen a rune, so you want to use runestrike not only when capped on rune power. Also you are not talking about the crimson scourge talent wich gives us a 10% change of a free blood boil wich you should use when it procs because it gives you rune power. If you going to make a guide please make sure its complete and has all the info.

Interesting. i don't recommend crimson scourge is the talent build so talking about it would have not felt right. You are totally right about Ruinc Power however I think you might have misinterpreted what i said. I mention that you use it "whenever there's nothing better to press" OR "when you are going to cap on runic power" so we are both saying the same thing here but in different ways.

@@rcpclassic well we are not completely saying the same, you can use rune strike to get the runes you want, for example if you have both blood runes and you use runestrike you can get frost/unholy or deathrunes. this way you can make sure you get an extra deathstrike. thats the trick of playing with runestrike

@@Darkthorianshowgame Isn't that only when both blood runes are depleted, like Blood Tap? As I understand it you could just keep one blood rune off cooldown and the Rune Strike could convert the depleted one to a death rune along with a depleted rune from frost or unholy.
