If wasn’t lame. Seem to be moving fine and the blood won’t have a chance to clot if it’s runny . A small amount of blood on a white horse will look bad compared to a black or brown horse . Similar to a head cut on a human . Looks horrific with blood running down your face but turned out it’s just a 3mm cut or something

As an equestrian this horrifies me. Having your horse bolt on the road is my worst nightmare. I’ve seen my friend’s horse go through the windshield of a car (car had no way to know the horse was going to bolt out of a side road in front of it; driver and passenger survived, the horse had to be euthanised. I had to crawl into the wrecked car to hold his head and keep him calm under the vet arrived). The grey horse covered in blood - I know it looks white but it’s actually classed as grey as it has grey skin; white horses have pink skin - was limping but like most prey animals it’ll keep moving in its panic. It seems like it was the one that slipped over, hopefully it’s just superficial injuries and a twisted ankle that’ll need rest. Well done to the man who caught that horse; he seemed to know what he was doing.

I don't think the guy had a clue what he was doing. Again someone having no business getting involved but thinking he had to get involved for some reason. He was very lucky the horse was spent out, the guy could easily have been harmed and cause even more chaos. Leave the care of these animals to professionals.

Sunak tryed to ride one and they saw the future.

All five horses involved in the incident are now captured, safe and being given the best possible vetinary treatment. According to Radio 2 earlier today, the horses were spooked by workmen this morning, laying cement in the road. Two of the horses (probably the injured grey and the black horse) were able to gallop a distance of 5 miles from the scene of the accident in Buckingham Palace road. 4 people have been injured as a result of the incident. No further details given.

I don’t think anyone has any idea how highly trained these horses are , they are desensitised to so much - only have to look at the footage of back in the 80’s when a nail bomb went of during a parade to understand just how desensitised they are. It must have been something truly terrifying they seen to chuck of their riders in mass and bolt off like that - they had been totally terrified by something?

After the white horse slams into the parked double decker bus at the 00:10 time code mark, the beautiful horse appears to have blood in it's nostrils, an open chest wound; or wounds, and blood on the front side of both rear legs. The blood on it's body was probably caused by glass shards from the parked bus's smashed windshield (seen at 00:15) that it slammed into at a 3/4 gallop.

Apparently, the horses were startled by noises from a building site. Seems strange to me given that these horses are trained to not react to loud noises, but they are still animals. I understand people are concerned for the horses. There were clearly terrified and at least one of them hurt (But the fact they were still running indicates that it's not too bad, thankfully), but why are so few people concerned for the five people that have been hurt? Getting thrown off, kicked by or mowed down by a lean, half ton animal is no joke.

Because most people have only seen the horses running in panic, one of them bleeding. It's more difficult for them to think about the riders since they don't have that fresh image.

What spooked them? Even with expertly trained horses with expert riders. Horses spook easily. Thankfully the man was able to get the reigns. Prayers they and the riders heal up well.

Horses should be running free in wide open spaces. Why do human beings have to try and control every living creature and put them in confined spaces .

I think they were treating the injured rider there. They use screens when they treat injured jockeys at race tracks - for privacy.

@@Solitude11-11 police need to stop using horses like this. Its utterly cruel to them to use them in noisy aggressive crowds. Hope this poor horse helps to get things changed. Just heartbreaking to see.

I saw another video about this incident and it said that the horses spooked because when they were going near a construction site, objects were being dropped onto the ground from a height and they crashed right next to the horses.

Now they were spooked. As an equestrian trust me, they can speak and have it much better in the paddocks then out being "free."

??? Who tried to hurt them? They're taken exceptional care of, and definitely received the best veterinary care as soon as they were caught. Accidents unfortunately happen, especially with prey animals who believe their best chance of staying alive is running.
