Blood Bowl Enthusiast and all around swell guy Mike Lowden is back for some Sevens with his Wood Elves. Relegated to the beer leagues after a disastrous first season in the BKBBL, they find themselves arrayed against an equally underperforming Black Orc team coached by myself! Sevens is available in the Blood Bowl Almanac, with the pitch available both in the aftermarket and from Games Workshop.

Par for the course these days. Don't know what I did to Nuffle to deserve this, but it was nothing little.
Only watched the video for a few minutes, but... madness giving the ball to a troll, the one model that's easy to pin down and has the chance it will refuse to move too 😳😳
Hilarious. Did all the Wood Elves skip the day when they taught "don't block with your face?"

I think they skipped the day "Introduction to Blood Bowl Fundamentals" and never went back to class.

Do you find yourself missing any of the elements from full size BB? I keep eyeing sevens as an alternative since the 2-4 hour full games are a bit steep for my group.

I find it depends on what you want out of a game of Blood Bowl. For a one-off game I'd rather play 7s, it's so much less cognitive load than 11s. It's not as good for a league though, the development isn't as interesting.

You can do what I do and play sevens with the full league rules. Best of both worlds!
You'd think that the shorter Sevens format would mean having fewer opportunities to roll 1s and skulls, and yet....

Apparently it just compresses the 1s and skulls into a leaner timeline.
Hi 7s speed game. almost always touch back 😅 why no touch back? the basic rule: the ball must land on the receiving side. The middle part is neutral, non-receiving, non-kicking

Pretty sure brawler would have helped with “both down” on the blitz in turn 2.

Brawler gets turned off when a player blitzes. Black Orcs really just want to stand and punch as all their skills stop working on the blitz (except grab still cancels side step)
