Not quite, although, nowadays it sounds more logical for Dithers to get a branch office opened up in a Texas town like Arlen, which leads to Dagwood being placed in charge thereof.

Nowadays, it would be interesting to see Dithers opening up a branch office in the Texas town of Arlen from the animated series “KING OF THE HILL”, and Dagwood finds himself put in charge of the branch office, which means moving to Texas, but it’s worth it, especially since Alexander and Cookie now have families and spouses of their own. For example, Cookie is now a veterinarian in Minnesota who runs her practice on the farm of her in-laws. Alexander, on the other hand, runs a garage supplying mechanical repairs to every kind of vehicle from motorcycles to diesel powered semi trucks in the northwestern Baltimore suburb of Lawndale, Maryland.

Peter Robins was adorable.

My oldest son and I met him at the 2021 Hazzard Fest. He kind of liked the idea that we pitched of the character of Charlie Brown driving a semi truck in his adult years. He even laughed when we mentioned his appearance in the episode “ROCK-A-BYE MUNSTER” as Elmer Dudley.

Could the late actor James Best aka Jim Lindsey of “THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW” as well as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane of “THE DUKES OF HAZZARD” have possibly done a better job of portraying Dagwood Bumstead?
