I would do the same method as shown in the video. It ensures that no matter where the hair is parted it will look good.

I have used Goldwell products for 20 years , nice use of Colorance....

Did you use Goldwell for the gloss or Redken?

I’m new to being a licensed cosmetologist. If someone has a boxed colored blonde am I able to put professional color over it? My mom is like a level 9 blonde and she wants some lowlights in because she wants to be a more dimensional blonde but my old Cosmo teacher said i could not put professional color over boxed color. Any tips?

I would suggest using malibu cpr to remove the boxed color to have a better canvas to start from.

How important is it to use a lightener and developer of the same line together and not cross color lines? I’ve been having problems with my redken flash lift and Sally’s developer just not lifting the first quarter inch from the root as bright as I’d like. And I’m starting to think it might be my combo. I thought all developers were the same 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

All developers are not the same. If you're in a pinch and can't get to your professional store sally's is a good substitute but if you can always use the same line of color and developer.

Definitely VERY important to use the same colour lines lightener and peroxide. They put them together for a reason and you aren’t going to get the best results possible if your using something random with it. They are made to be used together so it is definitely a good idea to spend the extra money and stick with the same colour line ❤️

When she films she usually does someone she knows or someone she has done enough times to feel comfortable with. As well as her salon employees for the most part are her family members so they are all comfortable with each other as well. The vaccine is also available here in the states & people that can are already getting it.
