great brick work Stu... was there any preservation treated on the joists embedded into the block? around here either air gaps or some other full isolation / treatment is preferred.

Stu - why all the packing under the joists and no wall plate? Did you have a prob with the finished internal wall height?

Matt Cartwright won’t need a wall plate as I presume it’s double skin block all the way up rather than timber inner skin so joists get build around and over. Packing is just to level up the joists 👍🏻

What’s the most amount of blocks you’ve laid in a day Stu? My boss always says aim for between 100 to 120 but I think he’s a fukin slave driver 😂😂
