That’s right. No wax ring. Many foreigners don't understand No wax ring. We install rubber rings. This may seem strange in your eyes. I became more keen from foreigners visiting my channel saying that our methods were wrong. At first, I didn't understand why I thought this was weird. I could find ways of other countries and understand why they think it's weird. I took it for granted because this is the way of every plumber in our country. Please understand that our method is different because our culture, environment, and practices have shaped it to what it is now. Just because we do things differently, it does not mean we are wrong. In every house in Korea, it is installed the same way I do it. If this were a problem, all the plumbers would be sued. If you can accept that things could be done differently, there is much you can learn from it. Just so you know, our country's toilet is a wet toilet. Think about it. Thank you for your comment.

@@PlumberStory I don't think I would say it was wrong. its just a different way of doing things and if it works why would it be wrong. I am interested in the way you secured and leveled up the toilet. We traditionally try and secure it to the floor and level with shims. They way you are doing it not only secures it but certainly seals it from the water in an overflow situation.... And the drain in the bathroom...what a novel idea.. LOL We have a lot to learn.

We have the toilet and tub clog. The home warranty company sent a plumber. We paid $70.00. He ran a camera. There were roots in the beginning of the sewer pipe in the back yard. A every year's problem. The home warranty ins doesn't cover roots. The plumber wanted $500.00. We thought it was too much money. We bought a machine $463.00. We cleaned the roots. The toilet is still clog. We took the toilet out, ran the machine. The roots are gone, but the toilet is still clogged. We took the toilet out. We ran the machine. We put toilet back. It was unclogged. It lasted one day unclogged. We did the process twice by now. We still have the toilet and tub clogged. It lasted one day unclogged. Now we ordered a camera to see what is inside there. Watching you tube videos I learned that maybe the exhaust pipe might be clogged. We will run the camera through that pipe first. Maybe that is what makes the toilet flood the tub. I'll let you know.
