I like how you explain stuff in the intro not just interesting but informative too. That toad in the drain was a monster, I think you found where security toads big brother lives lol.
Bet that toad was hiding from the police chopper

Yeah, I keep thinking he’s driving on the wrong side of the road. Guess just what you are used to. OH, and the steering wheel is also on the wrong side.😅😅😅😅😅😅
You're the best plumber I know and I am in the USA and know a lot of plumbers. Just keep on keeping on. Such incredible success you have with your determination and your toad and your traffic controller. How come we never see the rat anymore? Ha ha. The best to you and yours.

That beard is becoming legend!
Hey Penetrator, you should partner up with whoever supplies those palm trees because the more of those there are, the more work you've got....
The beard looks good on you. Nice neighborhood. Wow "Day of the Triffids" stuff coming out of that drain. 🤣
Found some old video’s I hadn’t watched yet, lovely. Forgot you had a beard 😊those tree roots were huge! Great one 👍👌
That was a nice chunk of roots! 😮
🐸 great job.. Shout out to mom..👍👏
mister, your job really is amazingly helpful
Wow! Bonus Toad in the hole :D
Pulling those roots out was so satisfying to watch!
Before the tree roots came out I thought that the toad could have been the clog! Actually, there were two winners. You and the toad (he lived).👍
🐸 Wow! That pipe sure was clean at the end. Didn't think it would come up that good. Well done to you and the team! ✔️👍🙂 Nice scarf - Haven't seen one that good for a while!
Note to self: If I ever buy a house in Australia, check the storm drains first to make sure they work!!
The Champion trophy 🏆
Woo hooooo! What a great specimen! That was informative and exciting to watch! It is nice to see recommendations for the customer for future needs if they may arise. Great job once again!

18:00 due to the amount of roots that come out of the drains, it seems that in Australia it rains water with fertilizers 🤔😳😳

It's gotten to the point I don't know what critters are plastic, and which are real. How a toad can survive the cutter, is beyond me.
Nice specimen hell. That's a wall hanger!

Looks like the toad is waiting for you to finish so he can go back home lol. He was massive. Cleaning storm drains one toad at a time.
I am glad you finally got some satisfying results. Form Michigan, say hi to "Mom." :)
Good Tuesday evening to you sir and your family
Save the Toads! We all know you have a schedule to keep, just make an effort please. Good job. Weird pipe!

You should have a list of great plumbers for your customers. That would prevent future shoddy workmanship for your customers. Mothers are the greatest thing on the planet!
I think you gave up the Toad to the authorities. He was hiding out until you gave him up! Lowl How odd to have a tube to nowhere!
good job, big toad, between the roots and the toad blockage central. nothing more quintessentially Queensland than a toad.

Great job as always Gavin. A nice root specimen for all your hard work. The customer won't have to worry about that pipe clogging for a few years. Nice to see the large toad getting to live for a change. He outsmarted the jetter and lives to tell the story. LOL! Look forward to the next one. Always learning something from every video. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there.

for the life of me, I'll never understand why people put trees and plants around pipes as they have to know roots will eventually work their way into the pipes. They must love spending their hard earned money on plumbers which, is good for you and bad for them 🙂
You found Rapunzal’s hair during this visit. 😜
A text from Mum is always good Gav. It's when mum is gone that you wish you got more texts from her.
Good lord look at them roots
no wonder the pipe was blocked with that big fella in there......lol
🏆
Don’t you wish your camera had a little windshield wiper on the lens?
Careful that toad was massive...... and may be after you now

❤️👍🏽❤️
Gavin, this may seem a trite trivial, but your latest head shots also include an assist handle in the vehicle. It's not too much of a bother to me, but could be distracting to other subscribers. Try using a tighter shot and see how it goes???!!!

Corrugated? Perforated corrugated? OMG what were they thinking? At least 80psi thin wall PVC. Are we having frog legs for dinner tonight? Or did you let the little fellow off the hook? lol
Have you considered strapping the go pro to your chest? I think it could free up your hand (or mouth) and give a better perspective. Just a thought. I love your videos.
Why would one design a storm water drainage system that went nowhere?
25:20 I see that the flexible corrugated tube cracks a lot and also the union with the rigid smooth tube is poorly made, for these reasons the roots are introduced and the drain is obstructed 🤦🏿♂️🤷♂️
Hi. Is that the 1st time you have disturbed a cane toad in your area?
Big ass toad, not the plastic one.
Hi
How fast can a tree root grow in a grain pipe? How does the root get in the pipes?

This pipe is rain water only. Waste water is piped seperately in Australia. The persistance of tree roots is due to long periods of dry weather, so trees will take advantage of any source. This was a text book situation with palm trees.

@@wendymorrison5803 Error, the roots invade the drainage pipes because they are poorly installed and because they do not use quality material, I have experience and I know what I am talking about, I am not an opinologist like you‼

Running slotted pipe buy the slab with a drain above? That is kind of silly in my book.

Just saw this. Love your videos. Just wish you could adjust your camera on the train pipe more. Seeing the road and the camera shacking gives me a headache...but not so bad I stop watching.
As someone with ranidaphobia, that big toad was a bit off-putting 🤢🤮. Very satisfying unblocking none the less.
police helli in the sky because they are chasing stolen cars
