It's very much still relevant to this day. Yes,I highly recommend starting with foundry over hardhat,since it gives you an edge over fuzzing.

It's best to keep checking the websites or you can search for your required internships and click on 'Turn on job alerts for this search'. This feature is available on most of job search platforms like LinkedIn and even in all of MAANG's career pages too!

I presume patrick's freecodecamp uses hardhat. I would still recommend you to learn foundry since it uses solidity code for testing.Go on with cyfrin updraft.

@@Guardianlk You can start with learning different types of testing. Extensive testing types has become a requisite for a dev. Besides that,you could learn integration or full stack. You can start with interning or find junior dev jobs.

80% of all projects in web3 is open source. You would just have to check a company's GitHub and create a PR about what value you can bring/resolve current probs.

Since the industry is new,there aren't much expectations of degree related to Blockchain at this point. It may or may not change by the time you graduate. Having a degree or work experience in the relating field definitely helps. Go on and try the free courses,find out if the tech really interests you. If you are not in the position to make life changes,compensate it with extra hours of projects,open source contributions etc to boost your profile.

I think I can only delve into Web3 development only after going through Web2.0. Am I right on this? Mam

You don't need MERN to become a smart contract dev. You need to learn any one of the smart contract development languages like solidity, rust, move, Cairo,python or vyper. Any other tech stack you have is complementary and is an added advantage. So, 1st, learn blockchain and any one smart contract language.

That's subjective,most job descriptions ask for either a computer science degree or an equivalent work Although,you don't need a degree to learn them.If you are too skilled at it that a recruiter can't ignore,then there is nothing stopping you! Good luck 🤞
