The rapper at 4:33 is Zico (yes him and the person at 5:39 are the same guys) He's known as being one of the best rappers in Korea. He has an insanly succeful solo career as soloist and producer. Another fun fact: He's very good friends with D.O. They also starred in a Korean variety entertainment show together in 2023.

Definitely recommend going on a Block B Deep Dive. My favorite songs of theirs are Toy or Her.

Block B didn't debut under KQ, I doubt KQ even existed then. I think they were under two different companies before moving to KQ. Block B fans please correct me where I'm wrong!

Yeah, Hongjoon was the first trainee in kq if I remember correctly and Ateez was their first group. And that was quite a while after block b's debut.

Stardom robbed all their money, so they sued them. Then staff from stardom created Seven Seasons and then, KQ was created and was SS mother company. But every bee knows that Seven Seasons died long ago (even if they tried to make us believe that SS and KQ were different) and KQ was in charge of everything and they were the fucking worst 😃 so never talk good about KQ in front of a Block B fan hahahaha

whoaa i miss them. It feels like they've slowly been forgotten by now, especially by newer kpop fans.. same as vixx. Such a shame honestly... but i'm glad you're reacting to, and discovering, them now. As others have said, that rapper (Zico) is among the best and most iconic ones the industry as a whole has to offer. A whole artist (😉)

Noticed this with a lot of iconic early 3rd and late 2nd gen like Infinite, Beast, Teen Top. Crazy to think people aren’t aware of how influential they were.

First time I heard this BlockB song was when at an award show back in 2014 I think it was they did BTS vs BlockB and I loved it. This song ws the song tht got me into BlockB as its just so catchy and the chorus gets stuck in your head straight away as it's such an ear worm

I love Block B!! Their debut is so good! It's Nilili Mambo and it's an absolute banger. You should also check out Shall We Dance and Her. Also, Zico (who has gone solo) is a pretty stellar producer and the head of the company KOZ, which is BoyNextDoor's label.

Block B (Blockbuster) debuted back in 2011 and released banger after banger. They definitely had a focus on rap and the leader Zico had a big hand in producing. They had some troubles with their first company and it was a ... mess to put it lightly. They went to their own company Seven Seasons and this was their first comeback after everything went down. This was Iconic I can't emphasize how much this comeback shook the Kpop world. Also Idk about fancy company terms but from what I understood Seven Seasons was absorbed/became?? KQ? Idk 😅 These boys mean a lot to me, it was the first group I got into back in early 2014 and it started my kpop journery. I'm pretty solidly just a NCT Dream girly nowadays but these boys mean the world to me still. Soorry for yapping but also it is 7 members born from 1990 to 1993 they debuted when the youngest P.O (red hair) was 18.

Soloist rapper Zico is from this group, he's now KOZ entertaiment CEO (one of HYBE subsidiaries) I recomend you to check out ENHYPEN cover of this song at Kcon. They did an amazing job covering this song (they are the kings of covers) Also check out Block B - "nilili mambo", it's a classic.

They debuted in 2011. They were the first kpop group I fell for right away, and followed from the start. And they for the most part pretended like their debut song didn't exist 😂 I liked it, but they didn't 😅 All their other songs are better though. I was so lucky to have been to two of their concerts, which was AMAZING ❤❤ I miss them SO MUCH! They were one if my top favorites. I even have all their albums. My favorite song is "Be the light" 💖 Other top favorites is "NalinA" Nillili Mambo" and "Shall we dance". I would recommend you to check them out. The fandom name is BBC, btw 😜

They are still together but in a hiatus since everybody had to do the military service. Before going they made clear to us that they would come back someday... We are still waiting hahaha Zico is coming back this month tho!
