Yeah winter is the best. Clean air, no bugs, no drowning in sweat, being home becomes really cozy, etc. I am eager to move to Alaska after I finish university.

ME TOO! i've got seasonal affective disorder, and the heat and sun make me feel so awful and nauseas. when i'm in the cold, even if i'm freezing, literally freezing cold, i enjoy it sooo much! (jokes' on me i live in Cyprus, waiting to have enough money to move out)

Christine rocks well. I live in Wisconsin...I never understand what ppl mean when they say deal with snow, what's to deal with it? it takes a few moments to wipe it off your car. Snow is beautiful.

It's so crazy to think that over 7 billion people on this earth look at the same moon and sun, and that while one person is getting ready for work or school, another person is finishing up for the day getting ready to go home and enjoy their afternoon whether it be with family, friends or even alone. I hope that whoever reads this comment has a great day/night whether you're on your way to school or leaving school, whether you're waking up to get ready for work or you're clocking out, or even if you're just chilling for the day and doing nothing at all. Every day is a new one and you decide how you want to start the day.

During Desert Storm we never saw a cloud, let alone precipitation. I dreamed of being home in the snow while the guys were talking about the beach and sun. I got approved for 30 days leave when we got back to US soil. I camped that winter and soaked in every last snow flake. No 120 degree heat, no bombs and gunfire, no oil smoke choking me. It was Heaven to a battle weary soldier.

I live in Northwest Territories, Canada 🇨🇦 and I can honestly say, this is really mild weather. Our cold is dry so layers of clothing feels great walking in snow. It's so peaceful and clean. If you ever get a chance, after the pandemic of course, please come and visit. Most Southern ppl never leave! God Bless.

This is my dream. There is something so comforting about dark, dreary snowy snowstorms that put me in such a state of relaxation. I'd take being snowed in and nestled in a cabin up in the mountains over baking in the hot sun any day of the week. The only thing I'd change is the proximity to a neighbor...

Perfect setting. Spent half my life in the southern US heat, other half in the Michigan woods. I love the south but there's something magical about the northern woods. I feel more in tune w nature up there. I remember as a kid walking outside into the woods the morning after a night of heavy snow, and just finding a tree to sit down against, and just marvel at the beauty of the snow covered woods. I would get a feeling that I've never gotten from anywhere else, even after all these years. Was as if the pine trees were creating some kind of energy amongst each other and I was caught in the middle of it. To put it simply, it felt perfect and it made me feel perfect. Like a pure song of one steady powerful note, almost a hum that reverberated throughout your entire being, like your body tunes in to the trees energy, like a tuning fork. It showed me that the forest is alive and the trees speak to us, and what they say is unlike anything I've experienced anywhere else, you just have to be there, and listen.

I live in Indonesia. There is no winter there. Just two seasons, rain and summer 😥.. I hope one day I can travel to europe or America so I can feel the winter season. Hopefully 😊

Look at how clean those trees are kept. Now that is a healthy forest who will live thru a fire, houses too with 60' or better between houses and forest. Ours is completely overgrown. Listening from SW Washington, USA. Peace. Our first storm of the season is due this coming weekend in Washington State. Just can't wait, how fun.

Seoul, Korea. When I was six years old, a winter day I walked barefoot on snow feeling it through. That night I listened to the snow howling thinking it sounded magical flute. Now, 60 years has past and I miss them. Due to Climate Change it doesn't snow that much nor howl like it used to.

For anyone here with anxiety, fear, stress, or depression, I want you to know that you are not alone. We all go through difficult times in our lives, and it can sometimes feel as though we'll never get back to normal. But we will overcome all the difficulties. No matter how cold the winter is, there is still a spring ahead. Believe in the power of positive thinking. You will get through it and you will come out stronger than ever.

She howl of the wind gives me chills. It reminds me of when I got snowed in 2019. I went out to go get some food to the local 711, due to us having no power. When I stepped outside, something was off. Normally, where I live you would hear the cars on the highway a quarter of a mile away, but, all you could hear was the howl of the wind. I recall there being atleast 1 1/2 feet of snow. (SERIOUS amounts of show where I live.) My parents told me to get anything left on the shelves that didn't have to be stored in a fridge. I made it out with lots of cookies, doughnuts, coffee, bagels, a few canned teas, and a few other things. I now had to do the trek all the way back home. I will never forget the crisp winter wind beating against my face while I was walking up the will to out ridge.i had to resort to a kind of sideways shuffle to get hack up the hill without slipping, lol. Half way up, I decide to take a rest by a tree that didn't have snow blasting under it. I sit down under the tree, and pop open a Starbucks frapè, and take a bite on my Snickers almond butter bar, and listen to the raging storm. Best 3 weeks off of school ever man.

Reminds me when I was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado and when I’d take leave time I’d rent a cabin in the mountains and enjoy the view and sounds while sitting in a rocking chair in front of a fireplace sipping hot chocolate.

To the guy from Kenya. I spent 2 yrs. in Fairbanks Alaska and after a couple hours you will change your mind lol.

@Barry Baz Agreed! My mother used to say the exact same thing. You can always escape the cold but there's no escaping the heat. I'm so glad it's almost October and summer is over. I didn't have AC this year and had to rely on only a fan in a heat wave. Spent many 90 degree nights lying awake in a pool of sweat. So uncomfortable. No escaping it either. Only a cold shower helped sometimes. Can't wait for the snow and the winter. Bring it on!!

I love how snow covers everything and makes it look clean. You look out the window and it’s just pristine white. The trees draped in white, the ground covered with drifts of glitter... I love winter!

It's September 2021 in Minnesota, I'm praying for a winter like this...and to work remotely again...I miss that too!

There is anxiety, this is so soothing to me.. I love autumn/winter, the smell of a burning wood stove, a warm blanket, mother nature's hot chocolate at its best.

not nice if you were caught in it with no place to go.

I was born in northern Minnesota near lake superior. I could go in the woods on a day like this and listen for hours in complete silence. Just me and my German Shepard Allie in the woods playing in the blizzard. It always felt like it could last forever. The sound of wind during a blizzard through pine trees is different than any other, and well represented here. Well done.

This howling puts me out like a light. And it plays a very important role in my sleep life

All the disturbances in my mind are lifted away in the wild gale. Sleep well my friends.

That magical moment just after you got the driveway blown out. Its dark out, snowing just a little, you are warmed up from the activity and its just beautiful outside.

I'm from Puerto Rico and I love snow storms

I'm from the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. Literally in the middle of a snowstorm but I still love to supplement the outdoors with sounds haha

I wanna live in such a place so much. It's too hot where Ive been. I hate hot weathers. bugs, sweating, burning all of them are part of hot weathers. I wanna be at home on the video and read a book in this amazing weather. That'd be awesome to me. 😊
