Were you on the east or west jetty, I got to the east at 5:00am thinking I was going to be the first at the tip, I was wrong , I saw three other shinning lights at the tip of the jetty,

Tagging programs help us to understand the fisheries and aids in conservation efforts as well. Tagging the fish in hopes one day it is eventually caught again and the tag data called or sent in with the update information - for example a fish can be tagged in barnaget bay NJ or Montauk NY at let’s say 26 inches and in a few years be caught again somewhere in Maine or the Carolinas let’s say and is now 36 inches, that’ll help scientist create data behind these fish and how large they grow over time and where they’re traveling etc, hope this helps!
