@@dominicmorales8026 Very true, but violence wouldn't be the problem, it'd be more about the drugs and sex. Because appearantly, blood and guts isn't bad but tits and ass are. The dialouge would be very PC as well, the most controversial we could get is GTA and even then they only get away with it because it's GTA.

Fun fact: During the Championship game of Division 1, the LA Riot have FIVE players from the original game's player team on their roster. Clayton Wescott, the canonical rookie at QB, Jonas the Wide Receiver, and Diggs the running back are the three rookies you can pick from in Blitz One. Darryl Klinnsman, their safety, is one of the Veteran players you can choose (the canonical choice is Lawless but he retires after the championship). Bruno Battaglia is the player you pick up after D3 ends.

If only sadly EA owns the rights to Blitz for now since Midway went bankrupt. They did release another NFL Blitz in 2012 (thanks to their exclusive licenses) that has many of the Blitz The League create a team logos in there for created teams but I'm not sure if the real team logos are in there as well. I'd love to see netherrealm Studios buy the license. Imagine how gruesome the Injuries would be with how they do the xrays and fatal blows in Mortal Kombat. That's what I think inspired them for MK9 in the first place.

Man, a football game with an interesting story, good characters, and a satisfying conclusion? This series was amazing and I’m glad to know such a thing is possible.

Always loved the game against Vancouver during the season. Carlos Coto was my favorite player in the entire game and the fact that he was loosely based on Tony Gonzalez was a really cool touch.

This series was everything! Mims is the team hero, even with Frank balling out of his mind and getting snubbed for league MVP. I'm only curious what would have happened had you not have gotten hurt and fulfilled that game objective

Funny that Quentin Sands is voiced by Lawrence Taylor, and Harry Carson was his teammate in New York, and Max Carson is in New York. Pat-rack James is a Martial Arts expert and knows how to use every gun ever made? Sign him up. Mims is the true MVP of this whole series.

This took me back. Absolutely incredible!

Love the series man.. I remember when this game was popping! Just a fun thing for you to try if you have your unleash just run as far back with your qb to where your receivers are out of sight and then launch the ball in the air and then use your unleash catch to get an easy td no matter where your at in the field. It's a glitch that never got fixed and not very many people knew about it.

Gonna miss this series. I loved watching this game but am excited to see what other games you play.

Ngl, that game was the greatest football championship. Blown leads aside, it was a Rubber match between two League front runners, complete with two opening kickoffs returned for Touchdowns IN A ROW, Franchise getting hurt at the end, the game-winning field goal as time expires… Franchise canonically ruptured his achilles when he Fractured his ribs and healed up literally in time for good games and the Trophy ceremony! If that isn’t peak sports storytelling, show me what is! (I know it’s just a game, but it’s a really good one)

So how about playing blitz the league 1 in the future? Fun fact: all the key players on your team in Blitz 1 are spread out amongst the teams in Blitz 2. A couple of them are team captains.

It’s funny with Mims because there’s a guy on my favorite college football team OU named Marvin Mims and he’s a beast too

God, I would love for them to reboot this franchise. I’d imagine it’s a lot cheaper to make than madden. I hope whatever 2k comes out with their football game it will either be something like street or blitz.

I wish the devs would havetoned down the crowd noise during that Franchise-Commisioner conversation on the podium. I could hardly hear what they were saying. I loved this game when I played it though. Reminded me a little of the old school Blitz games.
