Tom gave such a sharp performance on Asthenia. Fast, aggressive and precise. Dude didn’t miss a note! It was perfect

Pretty sure it was cause they had hype at the time but they weren’t a cult classic band like now and the venues they played at gave them crap to not go over the time frame for the concerts

1: it's punk so it's fast. 2: they didn't play to a click track then. 3. If they play songs faster then they could fit in a few more songs on the set list

The one from the final Dublin show in 04 is even better and crazier. Arguably it's the best live version of obvious.

It's pretty stupid to be against backing tracks outright. They're not a crutch. they're a creative resource. Imagine dismissing a painter for using a new brush technique. Backing tracks expand musical possibilities, enabling artists to experiment & innovate

@@freakyholic im not againts it. for nowdays blink, im pretty much understand why they need em. the sounds are much bigger and closer to the album version. totally enjoyed em. of course it has pro and cons. then, during the selftitle tour, they played much faster, and not relying too much to the backing track timing/click..look at camden show, fast and brutal.

Holy shit this is insane. Violence was wild. The guitar in the verse even though he only played a note or two would love to hear it more. And the speed is insane. So much anger being taken out.

huge fan since 1999 here, i love blink182 with all my heart but tom mostly sounded like shiiitt on every live show until now, he sounds lotsss better and i must say he actually looks like he's enjoying his place in the band now. cant wait to see them in Monterrey Mex. Cheers!!

Tgat not now performance is not rrom uk 2013. Its from Reading and leeds 2010 in the uk. The 09 versions if not now i think might've been better. Shouldve went with the 09 videos online.

Somehow I really dig the live version of Always, felt like just them 3 no extra tech etc

some of these performances have got to be some of their best. thrash vox, shit bass, travis. nice. ahaha

U should of put go from the same show as obvious, was perfect camdam sucks, dublin wembly and paris a peak live shows.
