Its so funny, i keep hearing you say "it easnt what i wanted from blink," throighout the ranking. I think after Enema everyone wanted them to keep doing that goofy band thing forever, but they ran the risk of becoming a joke/novelty band if they keot going down that path. I like seeing their growth. They somehow maintained their original soind despitr taking themselves a little more seriously.

C'mon Finn... "The Mark, Tom and Travis Show" was our first chance of hearing Travis' take on some older Scott era songs (ones that may never be played live again as a matter of fact), as well as a pretty good substitute for all of us who couldn't go to a blink-182 show! It captures perfectly the humor, energy and lack of talent of our boys. The funny thing is, the album can also work as a "hype-inducer" for those who are going to a blink-182 show as well.

That song and entire album brings such nostalgia.... some of the best times in life when the world was easier and a lot nicer to each other. Im 26 now, so I discovered them for myself around 2012 while completely unaware of how good or bad fans thought of them at the time. I fell in love with Neighborhoods because I had never heard music that embraces those darker themes about family life and it resonated with me. Which led me to get into all their other earlier stuff and I became a huge fan. I remember hearing California in 2016, but even I was thinking that it felt almost like an artificial attempt to recreate og blink.

@puttfordoughdiscgolf9361 I don't remember the "Untitled" title for the album, I remember when it dropped. Wiki and streaming services refer to it as "Selftitled". "Enema of the State" was particularly specialty because Travis had no chill on that album. He really elevated the bands sound.

I don't think Finn has listened to these albums anywhere near as often as people who really like Blink. He has a ton of music knowledge, but it is more on a macro scale. I really liked Skiba era stuff. I felt like they veered way off track with Neighborhoods and Dogs Eating Dogs and the early early stuff was pretty brutal. Enema, TOPAJ, Dude Ranch, and S/T should be top 4 - they are quintessential Blink - but I have Skiba era right after those.

I completely agree with most of this list, including the fact that Enema is the best on here. I will say though, Take off your Pants and Jacket had a personal affect on me as it probably did with many others with one specific song. My favorite song of theirs is "Stay Together for the Kids". It describes a broken home perfectly(From my perspective at least) with my parents hating eachother and all I could do was sit by and watch, not understanding the situation. It had a profound affect on me and the album came out the year my parents finally decided to split. That album comes in at number 2 for me, above Cheshire and Dude Ranch... I am also on the same page in agreeing that the untitled album was good, but not their best work. Thank you for doing this ranking.

Finn, you'll probably get a kick out of this story. So, I grew up in the same town as you, graduated in 2000, but was friends with a lot of the older punks that graduated from 97 to 99. I saw AKE and Formula One a ton of times. My girlfriend was best friends with Lou's sister. Anyway, Blink was going to play at the RKCNDY and for a couple weeks before that we were part of the "street crew" that passed out fliers around Seattle, Lynnwood, and Everett. We got to meet them and had bears with them even though most of us were underage. This was obviously very punk rock and cool of course. They weren't well known; in fact, Scott was still drumming for them. It was the skanking rabbit days. Had great times at all the old venues. Thanks for the video dude. PS, it's: 1. Take Off Your Pants & Jacket 2. Dude Ranch 3. Enema of the State.
