Growing up is realizing that you don't grow up, you just grow old. Your mind stays the same unless you let the physical, material world alter your perception on life. As your mental health deteriorates and your body begins to fail you, growing up is growing out. Growing up is accepting that you have a great influence on those around you no matter how small or insignificant you may think you are; what you do and say matters. Growing up is understanding while tomorrow is important, today is now and you will never get that back. Rock on punks!

And I’m just solo dolo now. I miss looking forward to getting blazed with the homies after school, or getting drunk, having fighting game sessions or jamming out in our little bands then going for a nice skate trip. Good times.

I am writing here straight from Russia. I am only 15 years old and I cannot express my feelings in words when I first heard blink-182 with their album "Dude Ranch" (I clearly remember that it was May 2020). The song that plays above has sunk into my soul and involuntarily makes me smile from the vibe that was in those days. Thanks a lot for your creativity, blink. (P.S wrote a few words by the translator, so there may be spelling errors ^ - ^)

I have had the slow part at 2:04 stuck in my head for a year now and could not for the life of me find this song, but then someone played an instrumental version of the song in their video and I remembered that it was the rest of the song... It feels SO GOOD to finally figure out what song has been stuck in my head FOR THE PAST 12 FUCKING MONTHS!!!

totally agree the slow down part is awesome and it is what makes this song great. Otherwise it wouldhave been the same 4 chords progression. That one, instead, gives the song "breath"

sorry I thought you were referring to the other part, anyway even the one you mentioned is great but is typical blink 182, they overuse those clean to come back in a climax to the main riffing Anyway my last comment was referring to the part that goes "someone to understand ecc"

Du Riechst So Gut so your comment is marked as spam for some reason and I can not make it normal again. For the people that cant see his comment he asked me "if its stuck in your head why didn't you look up the lyrics" My response is that the part that was stuck in my head had no lyrics. It was the calm guitar part that started around 2:04 and ended at around 2:20 I couldn't remember any other part of the song and actually did not know that it was even rock until I heard another song similar to it and remembered the rest of the song.

The song that launched a mega band. Perfect simple Rhythm section 3 chord Bass with basic drum pattern. Mixed with one of the most iconic punk-pop riffs ever and Mark screaming the lyrics to his highest ability. A video every heart broken 15-20 year old can relate to. Recipe for a masterpiece of the genre.

I remember seeing Tom Delonge at a CompUsa in 1999-2000 or so in Encinitas California. I was 11 or 12. Super random, he was just buyin' a computer. I remember pointing over towards him and he just had this face like "Please don't draw attention to me....please". Hahaha I just left it alone. Even at that age I recognized celebs are just normal people at the end of the day. They just wanna go out like everyone else.

The energy of this song strikes deep in my soul. Adam's voice is so powerful when he's screaming in the chorus, and it has a deeper meaning. The way the mixing of the audio is set up is almost transcendent, and it is so deep. This song is a Rollercoaster of emotions, the way it goes from high to low, sad to happy, medieval to angry, makes the brilliance of this song resonate deep within the chambers of my soul. No one understands me like Adam. The nostalgia hits DEEP. ✌peace, love from me, 2009-present.
