Stackcables Tip: Use a single very slow LFO set to +/- 5V; stack that signal to every modulation input that has its own attenuverter in the whole patch. Play around with the attenuverters while listening to the patch. It is OK to have the attenuverter at zero (null signal)!

When I finished and posted this video I wondered if maybe this 'blindspot' was overrated, but it's not. I now realize I overused them in this video and you don't always need them for every patch, especially when you have mults. However, I see many small cases with no mults and no stacks. There's no good or bad in modular, but there's plenty of unused potential and a lot to (re)discover.

I find that using bananas also changes how I think about patching. The signal flow is much more direct literally but also conceptually. Or maybe that’s just doing stuff with Serge lol. Another great thing about bananas is the ability to patch just by touching it to the jack. It is effortless to wander around trying different connections. It can also be a great way of playing as well, super easy to connect and disconnect repeatedly in the moment. If I ever did eurorack I would have to be all in on stackable cables, can’t imagine not having that tool.

That's the problem with Stackables. I think it's Y out to Bias IN and a stackable from Bias IN to Blend IN. The general rule of thumb is there must be an IN and an OUT somewhere in the chain so the voltage can go somewhere. So it's possible to have an IN + OUT + OUT to. When you'd patch OUT to OUT, nothing should happen. Same for IN to IN, but I noticed on my Serge this isn't always true. It's a magical world.
