    The one that leaves them once no longer an invalid because they happen to have an addiction. So she stayed with him when he was blind can’t he stay with her when she clearly is not in control of herself? Adding that he lied to her, basically lead a double live for something extremely stupid perhaps making her believe he is cheating. Addictions get worse while people’s are anxious. Neither of them is perfect but at least he had control over his decisions she didn’t.

I’m done with this one since someone mentioned the secret was her gambling addiction. I press the ⚙️ symbol up in the right and increase the speed to 1.25% or 1.5%. It’s still too repetitive! Not a SINGLE THOUGHT for the reason his wife was gambling... Perhaps his involvement in this relationship was not altogether enough for his wife... Being blind does not mean you are perfect or behaving perfectly. There is a selfish side to this story. Perhaps discussing the matter with his wife would be the bedrock of a turn in their relationship, to start anew after laying all the cards on the table, forgiving one another and looking forward to the immediate future. It does require a commitment on both parts, and it may be worthwhile...

    Been there and done it. Set up my fiance with a checking account and made the mistake of putting my name on it. Moved her in with me and bought her clothes. Helped her get a job and never indulged in her money. Got her a car to go with it. She messed up on the insurance and wrote rubber checks. Being an alcoholic and a gambler put an end to our relationship. It cost me $3500.00 to close out the checking account. I changed the locks on the doors and took my car back. Had her clothes boxed up on the porch waiting for her when she got home. The obvious feeling of being used was in the air. I wasn`t getting the attention I needed in the bedroom. I knew something was going on. I just happened to beat her to the punch. The trade-up she was counting on didn`t work out. She was fired for being drunk on the job. She didn`t pay for a thing the entire time she was with me. Word got back that she spent all of her money on our relationship. Ain`t life a beach.

    The fact is…EVERYONE has secrets. Secrets they want NO ONE to know, even their spouse. It doesn’t make them or you a bad person, or that keeping YOUR secret to urself makes you a deceptive person (to a point that it’s destructive, unless ur secrets that ur a serial killer or pedo or something like that, obviously) that can’t b trusted by the people important to you. Like keeping a BIG surprise for your wife by hiding all ur planning makes you SO deceptive that ur spouse can’t even trust you and you feel SO bad now that you’ve become such a DECEPTIVE husband for keeping ur plans secret so that ur wife is actually wonderfully surprised…this story is crap!!

  • @GWade1217
    @GWade121718 күн бұрын

    This one is ridiculous, IMO. Trying to keep a big surprise for your wife secret by being ‘deceptive’ isn’t a betrayal of trust and if planning a surprise could result in feelings as strong and intense as they made them out to b here, then their relationship would’ve NEVER been close to real. You’ve gotta b able to find some better writers than this…good Lord.

    He is as much of a "Fake" as she is a "compulsive gambler". When you made up this Fairy Tale, did you take in consideration, the months of therapy after eye surgery? This was not a snap your fingers type of deal. I would think the wife could see a quite large expense going for the surgery, you think? So many angles that don't add up in the Fairy Tale.

    I must say, that this was one of the worst stories I’ve heard in a long time. What made it even worse, was the fact that it was dragged out with insignificant rambling, and narrator seemed to be struggling to keep the mystery afloat. This in turn, made the story boring, and by the time it was close to completion, I no longer wanted to continue listening to the end. Time I will never get back.

    Worst atorytelling. Its like every single thing that happens has to be explained over and over again in 4 to 5 different ways, then, after wasting our time, finally moving on to the next event and explaining the same crap and also in 4 to 5 or more times. Like, how many times are you going to tell us his heart was broken or how he moved on before ginally moving on? Ugh.

    These stories are always riddled with plot holes, eg. how did the blind man get a drivers license so he could race home??? What is the purpose of telling them??? Click bait?

    I took a gamble and I lost. I listened to the story and it is nothing short of verbal chloroform. She gambled his money so on and so on. This voice does many of these kinds of stories but never again will I listen to him. I felt like putting my own eyes out with sharp pencils.

    A Woman needs to prove to him that she can be trusted not through words but through actions. To the hell what a woman says let me see her actions she will try to lie to him.

    I've seen this in my life! Gambling is a vice just like smoking, but if treatment and marriage counselling fails then the two never wanted to reconcile. I always suggest adults Fireproof the movie before getting married!

    This story is so stupid. How is he going to hide eye surgery from the woman who sleeps with him? Also, how is he going to suddenly know how to use a computer when you stated that he didn’t even know the letters of the alphabet and so the braille on his typewriter was helpful? Was all the writing on his screen also in braille?
