Wikipedia: Imaginations from the Other Side is the fifth studio album by Blind Guardian that was released in 1995. The atmosphere of this album is darker in comparison to their earlier works, such as Battalions of Fear, which had a relatively light tone. This album also marks the first since their debut in which Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray) did not guest on vocals or guitar, and the last album to feature vocalist-bassist Hansi Kürsch as bassist. It was also their first album to spawn off any singles, in form of "A Past and Future Secret" and "Bright Eyes". It was remastered and re-released on 15 June 2007, with bonus tracks and videos.

One of my favourite BG songs from one of my favourite BG albums. Amazing band and they are even more amazing live.
This song must be one of the most powerfull songs of Blind Guardian, it's just awesome! LONG LIVE TO GUARDIAN!!!
I introduced a friend of mind to Blind Guardian. First, she was amazed by the magic of The Bard's song, then this one hit her straight for 5 and a half minutes of pure breathtaking awesomness ! She then quickly borrowed half my BG records I guess I made yet another contribution to expand the big BG family today !

Statoil Bensin he is saying there are a lot of elements to this song. And that it is complex with many good transitions like progressive metal. For some good progressive metal I would check out opeth, dream theater, Jinjer, gojira,and paralyidium. Metallica’s Orion is a very good example of a prog song from a band that is not prog.

MegaDave Taylor There is a lot of thrash like elements in this song, but thrash is not that melodic. I would say its rather speed/power.

BADASS RECORD!!! I think the best albums of blind guardian was with thomen stauch..more powerfull and more groove. I can't hear the last albums with the new drummer has no soul groove and clear sound..sorry but bring thomen back and create masterpieces like that.

Frederick Ehmke is for sure very talented, but I too prefer Thomen's style. Look at his power and how he adds to the songs. It may be because of the production of the newer records, but Ehmke's sound fall just flat, I can't even hear his cymbals sometimes. He seems more like a progressive player idk. I love At the Edge of Time album though. Crazy good songs.

Cezar Rodrigues the only bad album of BG is a twist of a myth (and is a bad album for BG, isnt a bad album persé)

Hernest Vay Well yeah,ATITM is pretty under the BG standards,though it has some pretty strong songs like "Otherland" and "Turn the Page"
