The golden retriever dog was the key to her memory. A dog never forgets it's master smell.

You can see her heart dropped and her devastation the moment she realized that she had him so close and that she might've lost him for good this time. Han Hyo Joo is just an amazing actress as she is just as beautiful.

True. She loves to experiment. She doesn't stick to one genre and same character style. Every project she shows a different han hyo joo. And that's why I love her.. I started becoming a huge fan back in 2009 because of Brilliant Legacy, but I didn't know she was the same actress who played the female lead in Spring Waltz which I saw years earlier. And already loved her that time. So I can say I've been a fan way before 2009.

Indeed - her and Son Ye Jin are both top tier then, now, and I'd bet to the end of their careers. Two of the best regardless of any role that they are casted in - you can tell they always put their all into it even if the movie or show itself is "meh".

Han Hyo-Joo is so perfect in this movie, it is ridiculous. Her and So Ji-Sub are an awesome on-screen pairing and compliment each other so well.

This movie is done plenty of times, but this movie’s leads were excellent, the female lead crushes her role, and the male lead just makes you root for him period!!! The end is just beautiful, sad, tragic, and full of emotion!! Great Movie!!!!

The way the writers play with our hearts by teasing us if they will meet again and live together. First we finally find out he was alive still and not dead. Then he was at the hospital she comes to volunteer to massage patients. But he doesn't say anything to have her recognize him because he feels he shouldn't interrupt her new happy life. She then recognizes and remembers that man is her lover all along thanks to the dog's help. She runs after to find him. She breaks down in tears thinking she lost him forever now. But finally she finds him and our happy ending.

The moment she realizes in the shop, the way she does that double gasp/exhale...it absolutely captures true love , and his when he finally exhales in her arms...get me everytime

Even the dog acting is so brilliant

Even though its already so many years,everytime I remember these scene I’ll always look for it on youtube just to see these scene only,coz its give huge impact on me..

The acting is so good i literally felt her pain.

It’s amazing to see Han Hyo Joo’s range here vs watching her in Moving esp the action scenes. So Ji Sub is a great character actor, e.g. Company Man. They both rock!

That's the perfect ending ...the "I'm home" embrace...❤❤

This is why for the last two years I have only watched k dramas.Beautiful emotional stories with so many amazing actors.This is one I definitely remember .

He accepted it that by letting the turtle go, like letting her go from his life. But love bonded them.

This movie was so beautiful and sensitive about a man that falls in love with a blind girl - so wonderfully performed by these two actors.

The last scene is well written. Kudos to the writer. 6:53 She says those words in tears like a poem . That braille quote on the table should be that one she liked from "Romeo and Juliet" : her eye discourses. I will answer it. She wrote that meaning she was returning at his favorite place. The Night jasmine is the first thing she told him to take care of when they met the first time

The acting shown is a thing of such substance It stirs the heart to tears.The last scene won my soul to how beautiful the surroundings are as well. If I could ever pick a place to fall ever so desperately in tranquil love, it would be there.

I strongly disagree. The first half was the best part, just watching them come together. The second half leaves the viewers with so many unanswered questions and it answered none of them. The final two scenes of the couple carried the entire second half of the film.

He almost lost his life for her to pay for her surgery. If she doesn't love him after all these she most likely doesn't deserve any love in her life at all. Lol

This movie was amazing and the actors really made it realistic with their amazing acting 😢💜

This guy's acting and project selection is insane, 2 of 3 best sad k-movies are played by him, this film and Be with you (2018). even the melodrama series that he co-starred with Im Soo Jung 17 years ago is still often mentioned in several variety shows (but I still haven't watched that series 😇)

I have this DVD, and So Ji Sub does a great job. Makes me cry knowing he is disfigured and his blind girlfriend (who now can see) doesn't know it is HIM. He is the way he is due to fact he got beaten up to help her get a transplant for her eyes so she can see. Good acting So Ji. You never fail.

I remember the amount of tears i had when i watch this movie...even until now watching this clip, my eyes gets teary... I will never forget this movie...this is such a MASTERPIECE...

Extraordinary actor!! She's excellent too! He doesn't need to utter a word, his eyes and the facial expression says it all!! Wonderful story !

Simple story of selfless love..so touching..had watched it few times..

So this is how she comes to sense the man she just collided with was her long lost love.... You should watch the movie dear it's worth your time💜💜💜

Unfortunately tragedy struck and he was maimed and disfigured and quietly left her to live her new life. Two years later they meet again and she doesn't recognize him (maybe barely during the first meet, massage scene when she checked his name). The dogs reaction and him taking the turtle was what made it click for her, that he was the one she was waiting for.

This was the first thing of Korea's entertainment industry that I watch. Fell in love with So Ji Sub and follows with I'm Sorry I Love You (fantastic drama). Both the movie and the drama were excellent. I realized that Korea had very talented actors/actresses.

I follow SojiSub to this movie and I have to said after watching “Oh my Venus” and “Master’s Sun” this is a totally different role from the other show. Very impressed by his acting and his pure love for the blind girl. So touching and when the dog runs to him on the street ❤very happy with the reunion, would be better if we can see they fix his leg and his face again. This show give me hope about life ❤❤❤

Did you ever see My PS Partner (also known as Whatcha Wearin' in some places)? Not really an exact comparison as that one is a comedy but that one is my favorite.

@@kimkaykae the Korean one is the original, shot a few years ago. The Japanese was a fairly recent remake. I like both though my preferance was the Korean original simply for the better acting skill and chemistry of both Soh Ji Sub and Han Hye Joo.

I’ve watched this movie a few times and each time found something diff. Amazing actors.

Love this movie...watched it at least a dozen times. Two of my favorites. his beauty in this movie is something else.
