Surely a bad relationship with parents shouldn't be seen automatically as a red flag, and it's rare that such bad relationship is caused by sons and daughters. But I think an ACTIVELY bad relationship with bad parents (therefore with the parents at fault) most likely affects the relationship between their sons/daughters and future partners. For example: I can't have children of my own and keep in contact with my bad parents who would want to visit me and mistreat/abuse my children or anyway insist on being part of my life with their bad behaviours. If my parents are toxic, then I would want myself to cut ties with them to begin with; and putting an end to such toxicity/abuse makes the relationship between me and my parents a passive - if not "dead" - relationship which won't affect my future personal and romantical partnerships (or perhaps even friendships). This also means to deal with the trauma caused by them and to be able to love and receive love, which is exactly what I did in my personal experience and I believe many people mean it this way too.

I just know he'll make fun of any woman with "girly" interests. Lorenzo has a bit of growing up to do, I think.

He really lacks kindness, self awareness and openness to the woman he’s dating being a whole complete person on her own, with her own interests that are just as valid as his own. He seemed to have so many turn offs by his reactions that I don’t think he was a good personality fit for this format of blind dating. Also, him taking about his past partners being “mean girls” is very telling. Our partners mirror our energy. Hard disagree. It doesn't matter whether it was your fault or not. It doesn't matter if it was due to trauma or not. The simple fact still remains that it's STILL going to affect you negatively regardless. Its not a GOOD sign. It's most often a bad one. Are there situations where it would be better to get away from your parents? Absolutely. But that doesn't change the fact that whether it was your fault or not you're STILL going to have that baggage from it. Which means objectively, it is closer to a red flag than a green one. And this is coming from someone who doesn't have a good relationship with one of my parents at all.

What if the person worked through their issues (in whatever capacity that may be)? We all have flaws. As long as we work through them, I don’t see the issue. You’re not your parents and shouldn’t have to suffer the consequences of their poor decisions, much less if you’ve worked or try to work through any trauma.

Is it really possible that none of the girls noticed the obvious tryhard player vibes he gave off??? Could they really have not noticed he was trying to get with ALL of them at once?? Sometimes the guys in these videos get flamed and I dont usually agree. But this might be the first time I genuinely thought every single thing the guy said was cringey, insecure, rude, or trying way too hard. This was bad. I believe the girls realised it when it was visible at some point and either tried to play it cool or gave him the benefit of the doubt. In the end, none of them seemed sad for being eliminated and the very last girl tried to "make something good out of him" but he looked down on her for the basebell thing and she wasn't having it.

As a Puerto Rican I feel embarrassed about everything he did... since the beginning I was like... I don't like this dude and then when he said he was Puerto Rican I was like "yup that explains it" This is the average guy in PR and that's exactly why I don't like the "typical" men in PR... they're just so cringe and step over so many lines.
