Blessed Mother's First Appearance | The Miracle Of Our Lady Of Fatima | Warner Archive

The Miracle Of Our Lady Of Fatima (1952) #WarnerArchive #WarnerBros #TheMiracleOfOurLadyOfFatima
This much-loved movie thoughtfully recreates the 1917 events that brought hope and new religious fervor to war-ravaged world. Three peasant youths see a vision: a woman in a cloud of light offering words of faith and prophecy. They face skepticism and torture - but are soon embraced by faithful masses drawn by the promise of a miracle. Director John Brahm skillfully balances simplicity and spectacle, all powerfully supported by Max Steiner’s soaring score.
Directed By John Brahm
Starring Gilbert Roland, Angela Clarke, Frank Silvera

I believe in all this BUT the Catholic Bible states in John ch3v’s3-7, “Unless you are born again (from above) you cannot see or enter Gods kingdom”, & in v7 “You MUST be born again” so I’ve decided to do what the Catholic Bible says to do, & Mary herself said in John ch2, “Whatever Jesus says do it”, It’s quite clear to me do you agree with the Catholic Bible ??.

@@ebikenimikeadventures3272 Mary is the Mother of God, and the Bible says so! That’s why we honor Her more than any creature-but not more than God. The first reason why we believe Mary is the mother of God is because it is an historical fact. The fact is that Jesus Christ is revealed in sacred scripture to be God manifest in the flesh, right? John 1:1-2: “In the beginning was Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.” And then in verse 14 it says “And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.” Well, how was he made flesh? He was born of the Virgin Mary. So what we have here is Almighty God was born of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which means Mary necessarily is the Mother of God. Scripture tells us in Luke 1:43 St. Elizabeth says of Mary, after She had conceived Jesus and goes to the house of Elizabeth, “Who am I that the Mother of my Lord should come unto me?” And of course she’s referencing, under the power of the Holy Spirit, when King David said of the Ark of the Covenant “Who am I that the Ark of my Lord should come unto me?” (2 Samuel 6:9).And so we know the Scriptures are here revealing Mary to be the new Ark of the Covenant, just as in the Old Testament the Ark was the Ark of almighty God. Of course, the New Testament fulfillment of that Ark would not have something in it less than the God of the Old Testament, because then the fulfillment would be less than the type. We know that of course the New Testament Ark would be the Ark of Almighty God. So of course Elizabeth calls Mary “Mother of my Lord,” God; Mary is in fact the Mother of God; and this leads to us honoring Mary.

    4 жыл бұрын

@@anapple8764 Mary the mother of Jesus was described by God as “highly favored” (Luke 1:28). The phrase highly favored comes from a single Greek word, which essentially means “much grace.” Mary received God’s grace.Grace is “unmerited favor”; that is, grace is a blessing we receive despite the fact that we do not deserve it. Mary needed grace from God and a Savior, just as the rest of us do. Mary herself understood this fact, as she declared in Luke 1:47, “My spirit rejoices in God my Savior.”The virgin Mary, by God’s grace, recognized that she needed the Savior. The Bible never says that Mary was anyone but an ordinary human whom God chose to use in an extraordinary way. Yes, Mary was a righteous woman and favored (graced) by God (Luke 1:27-28). At the same time, Mary was a sinful human being who needed Jesus Christ as her Savior, just like everyone else (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1 John 1:8).The virgin Mary did not have an “immaculate conception.” The Bible doesn’t suggest Mary’s birth was anything but a normal human birth. Mary was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus (Luke 1:34-38), but she was not a virgin permanently. The idea of the perpetual virginity of Mary is unbiblical. Matthew 1:25, speaking of Joseph, declares, “But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave Him the name Jesus.” The word until clearly indicates that Joseph and Mary did have normal sexual relations after Jesus was born. Mary remained a virgin until the Savior’s birth, but later Joseph and Mary had several children together. Jesus had four half-brothers: James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas (Matthew 13:55). Jesus also had half-sisters, although they are not named or numbered (Matthew 13:55-56). God blessed and graced Mary by giving her several children, which in that culture was accepted as the clearest indication of God’s blessing on a woman. One time when Jesus was speaking, a woman in the crowd proclaimed, “Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed” (Luke 11:27). There was never a better opportunity for Jesus to declare that Mary was indeed worthy of praise and adoration. What was Jesus’ response? “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it” (Luke 11:28). To Jesus, obedience to God’s Word was more important than being the woman who gave birth to the Savior.Nowhere in Scripture does Jesus or anyone else direct any praise, glory, or adoration toward Mary. Elizabeth, Mary’s relative, praised Mary in Luke 1:42-44, but her praise is based on the blessing of giving birth to the Messiah. It was not based on any inherent glory in Mary. In fact, after this Mary spoke a song of praise to the Lord, extoling His mindfulness to those of humble state and His mercy and faithfulness (Luke 1:46-55).Many believe that Mary was one of Luke's sources for the writing of his Gospel (see Luke 1:1-4). Luke records the angel Gabriel visiting Mary and telling her that she would give birth to a son who would be the Savior. Mary was unsure how this could be since she was a virgin. When Gabriel told her that the child would be conceived by the Holy Spirit, Mary answered, "I am the Lord's servant. . . . May your word to me be fulfilled. Then the angel left her" (Luke 1:38). Mary responded with belief and a willingness to submit to God's plan. We, too, should have such faith in God and trustingly follow Him.In describing the events of Jesus' birth and the response of those who heard the shepherds’ message about Jesus, Luke writes, "But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart" (Luke 2:19). When Joseph and Mary presented Jesus at the temple, Simeon recognized that Jesus was the Savior and gave God praise. Joseph and Mary marveled at what Simeon had said. Simeon also told Mary, "Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed (and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), so that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed" (Luke 2:34-35).Another time at the temple, when Jesus was twelve, Mary was upset that Jesus had remained behind when His parents had left for Nazareth. They were distressed in looking for Him. When they found Him, still in the temple, He said He must be in His Father's house (Luke 2:49). Jesus returned to Nazareth with His earthly parents and submitted to them. We are told, again, that Mary "treasured up all these things in her heart" (Luke 2:51). Raising Jesus must have been a perplexing endeavor yet also filled with precious moments, perhaps memories that became more poignant as Mary came to more fully understand who Jesus is. We, too, can treasure in our hearts the knowledge of God and the memories of His activity in our lives. It was Mary who requested Jesus' intervention at the wedding of Cana, where He performed His first miracle and turned water into wine. Even though Jesus seemingly rebuffed her at first, Mary instructed the servants to do what He told them. She had faith in Him (John 2:1-11).Later in Jesus' public ministry, His family grew concerned. Mark 3:20-21 records, "The crowd gathered again, so that they could not even eat. And when his family heard it, they went out to seize him, for they were saying, 'He is out of his mind.'" When His family arrived, Jesus proclaimed that it is those who do the will of God who are His family. Jesus' brothers did not believe in Him prior to the crucifixion, but at least two of them did afterward-James and Jude (Judas), the authors of the New Testament books bearing their names.Mary did seem to believe in Jesus throughout His life. She was present at the cross when Jesus died (John 19:25), no doubt feeling the “sword” that Simeon had prophesied would pierce her soul. It was there at the cross that Jesus asked John to serve as Mary's son, and John took Mary into his home (John 19:26-27). Mary was also with the apostles on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1:14). However, Mary is never mentioned again after Acts chapter 1.The apostles did not give Mary a prominent role. Mary’s death is not recorded in the Bible. Nothing is said about Mary ascending to heaven or having an exalted role there. As the earthly mother of Jesus, Mary should be respected, but she is not worthy of our worship or adoration. The Bible nowhere indicates that Mary can hear our prayers or that she can mediate for us with God. Jesus is our only advocate and mediator in heaven (1 Timothy 2:5). If offered worship, adoration, or prayers, Mary would say the same as the angels: “Worship God!” (see Revelation 19:10; 22:9.) Mary herself sets the example for us, directing her worship, adoration, and praise to God alone: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me - holy is His name” (Luke 1:46-49).

We do have heavenly parents that's our heavenly father God and heavenly Mother Mary and Jesus is our brother. ..Yes, Jesus is the way and the truth and our salvation but it all begins with Mary (The Annunciation). And Jesus gave Marry the tittle of Queen of heaven and earth. You should read more books about the life of the saints of the Catholic, the truth is there. And the body of most of the saints are incorruptible still intact. You cannot find that in any other religion only in the Catholic faith. You mean: The church that made up false pagan doctrine and raped, murdered, tortured, burned alive entire families, communities and villages for 3 Hundred Years? That Church? Of course while committing genocide the Catholic clergy would put a veil over the wooden face of Christ hanging on the Cross. I read they do the same thing while raping children.... God tells us NOT To worship anyone but Him and His son. Mother worship began with Nimrod, Babylon, Greek & Roman doctrine of gods worship. Jesus did not found any Catholic Church, which 90% of scholars deem as "Babylon the Great". He began "the church" - any believer. Salvation is easy. Walking with God, not so much; that costs and for some it costs everything. The Catholic Church exploits Christ & the triumph & tragedy of Calvary with Greed and Sexual Scandal and now they are bowing down to the false God of BLM - a Marxist movement to remove the Judaeo-Christian God. _why not do some research on the Council of Nicaea and how Constantine and his ilk added tons of false pagan doctrine to the church? It's all there online._ Thank God that He did not die for a handful of self righteous pious Catholics or uptight Christians or sanctimonious Jews but to purchase the *entire world.* We freely need to choose Him in response to this however many do not or are blind or lost w/o hope. Christ has a plan for this current growing darkness. We are indeed in the tribulation, however When the hour is at it's darkest & this earth can no longer take a breath due to sin and wickedness, lost and broken - He has repeatedly & consistently through the scriptures and prophets given us Hope of His return. He will judge righteously taking all things into consideration. He will eradicate evil and wickedness & restore Zion. He will physically rule this earth as our true King. The dead will rise. Every heart will heal. We will then enter into His Kingdom as we "cross over" into Righteousness and Justice & true Liberty. Trust me the "Holy Catholic Church" will not be there up in the front row greeting Christ when He returns w/o sever judgement & recompense because that is exactly what the Word of God states repeatedly from Paul and Christ Himself. if any of the wicked Catholic clergy make it at all it will be a stunning testimony to the length and breath of God's grace & forgiveness.

Our lady told Francisco and Jacinta that they would join her soon and Jacinta would suffer a lot, die alone and then she would get her. The three shepherds would sacrifice themselves for sinners by doing things such as fasting. With 10 years old Francisco died in 1919 catching the Spanish Pneumonia that killed 75m people in 1918. He would just say: “don’t worry I’m joining our lady very soon.” One year after Jacinta entered the hospital with an open wound on her chest, already very weakened after more then a year with the infection. The surgeon Castro Freire operated her by taking her two ribs without anesthetic in an attempt to save her. At that time, there was no general anesthesia and she was just "stunned" with a little ether. In his notes, the doctor wrote: "I was so impressed with this girl, any other child would have screamed, kicked but she would just say “Oh my Jesus. Oh my Our lady.” After eighteen days of agony with 9 years old Jacinta died in the year of 1920. Her body was left intact and smelled like flowers. “The girl smelled like flowers”, as the hospital D.Estefânia director would later say. She had asked not to be buried underground, so she was taken to her family's deposit in Ourém.Three decades later, when the body was moved to the Fatima basilica on May 1st, 1951, it would still remain uncorrupted, other thing that science could never explain.

The Father and the Son are Parents of the Holy Spirit, if many churches are correct.Stay home to avoid coronavirus and flu. If many churches are correct, The Trinity is a Family-- two Parents and a Progeny, just like a human family.(Humans are created in the "image" and "likeness" of God according to Genesis 1:26) In the book of Job, which is part of the Bible, the Lord is compared to a father and also a mother with a womb "From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens?"-Job 38:29. Because God can also be thought of like a mother (Isaiah 42:14, Isaiah 66:13, Matthew 23:37, Catechism of the Catholic Church 2nd edition paragraph 239), all three roles (father, mother, progeny) in a basic human family are filled in the Trinity. Saying the Father and the Son are Parents of the Holy Spirit is simply another way of saying "the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son" which has been official Catholic doctrine for centuries. The Church teaches that the Son is begotten from the Father. If this is true, the Father is the Father (Parent)of the Son. The Church teaches that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. If this is true, the Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church (second edition) paragraph 246, the Holy Spirit's "nature and subsistence" is "at once(simul) from the Father and the Son."If the Church considers Mary as mother(parent) of God even if Mary isn't the first source of Christ's humanity(God is the first source), then the Son can also be rightly called a Parent of God(the Holy Spirit). The scriptures are vague if the Holy Spirit is the 3rd or 2nd Person of the Trinity, whichever of these is true, the 1st and the 2nd may be the Parents of the 3rd. Stay home to avoid corona virus and flu.Parent definition: One that begets or brings forth offspring. Stay home to avoid corona virus and flu.

Where in the Bible do you find that Mary is our strength. In contrary you will find dozens of places where this is sayed about God. The catholic church (and even worse the orthodox) made Mary a copy of Christ.

Therefore when she died she went back to the underground. Now how on earth would she appear as an angel asking people to make an temple for her and to honor her etc. If she human she could do that, what about the other deceased people on earth , can they come back . And Glen trust me i was blind just like you, and i know you smart, put all the pieces together and you will see the truth. THERE LADY FATIMA, THERE IS LADY LOURDES, THERE IS LADY GUADELOUPE, ETC.. THERE ARE MORE. DONT U EVER ASK WHY MARY IS EVERYWHERE ASKING FOR A TEMPLE TO BUILD ON HER NAME..THE DEMON /ANGEL OF LIGHT IS MAKING PEOPLE BLIND AND LURE THEM AWAY FROM THE TRUTH.. Mary the mother of Jesus was described by God as “highly favored” (Luke 1:28). The phrase highly favored comes from a single Greek word, which essentially means “much grace.” Mary received God’s grace. Grace is “unmerited favor”; that is, grace is a blessing we receive despite the fact that we do not deserve it. Mary needed grace from God and a Savior, just as the rest of us do. Mary herself understood this fact, as she declared in Luke 1:47, “My spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” The virgin Mary, by God’s grace, recognized that she needed the Savior. The Bible never says that Mary was anyone but an ordinary human whom God chose to use in an extraordinary way. Yes, Mary was a righteous woman and favored (graced) by God (Luke 1:27-28). At the same time, Mary was a sinful human being who needed Jesus Christ as her Savior, just like everyone else (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1 John 1:8). The virgin Mary did not have an “immaculate conception.” The Bible doesn’t suggest Mary’s birth was anything but a normal human birth. To Jesus, obedience to God’s Word was more important than being the woman who gave birth to the Savior. Nowhere in Scripture does Jesus or anyone else direct any praise, glory, or adoration toward Mary. Elizabeth, Mary’s relative, praised Mary in Luke 1:42-44, but her praise is based on the blessing of giving birth to the Messiah. It was not based on any inherent glory in Mary. In fact, after this Mary spoke a song of praise to the Lord, extoling His mindfulness to those of humble state and His mercy and faithfulness (Luke 1:46-55). Many believe that Mary was one of Luke's sources for the writing of his Gospel (see Luke 1:1-4). We, too, should have such faith in God and trustingly follow Him. In describing the events of Jesus' birth and the response of those who heard the shepherds’ message about Jesus, Luke writes, "But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart" (Luke 2:19). When Joseph and Mary presented Jesus at the temple, Simeon recognized that Jesus was the Savior and gave God praise. Joseph and Mary marveled at what Simeon had said. Simeon also told Mary, "Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed (and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), so that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed" (Luke 2:34-35). Another time at the temple, when Jesus was twelve, Mary was upset that Jesus had remained behind when His parents had left for Nazareth. She had faith in Him (John 2:1-11). Later in Jesus' public ministry, His family grew concerned. Mark 3:20-21 records, "The crowd gathered again, so that they could not even eat. And when his family heard it, they went out to seize him, for they were saying, 'He is out of his mind.'" When His family arrived, Jesus proclaimed that it is those who do the will of God who are His family. Jesus' brothers did not believe in Him prior to the crucifixion, but at least two of them did afterward-James and Jude (Judas), the authors of the New Testament books bearing their names. Mary did seem to believe in Jesus throughout His life. However, Mary is never mentioned again after Acts chapter 1. The apostles did not give Mary a prominent role.

@@maryanna682 Chill dear, No matter what/how many Bibilical evidences you lay down before them, they don't (infact, can't) understand. For their bible is what their "priests" say, not The Holy Bible. Clearly they worship Mary. On being questioned, they say they just honor (or venerate). It's just an other word they use to escape from the criticism. Perhaps going with the Bible or dealing with them intellectually donot work. We gotta be praying a lot for their eyes of understanding to be opened. (I witnessed a story of my catholic friend. I tried with a lot of versus. Nothing changed. Now I gave up debating and started praying for the right time to discuss)
