Day 88 watching. Times must be tough in Missouri, with the limited hours of operation of breweries. In Colorado, they are open all the time. Booze hounds here.

Glad you guys got a reprieve from the heat and a corn-adjacent campsite! I enjoy the shots of the various points of interest you pass along the way. I'm a nerd and always pause to read them.

Similar to the C&O it’s mellow but a bit samey to be walking on vs biking

Super nice to get a break on the weather! That (and decent shoes) makes all the difference. Hike on! Tortoise

I am saddened by the lack of open breweries thus far. :( I mean, I always thought that beer and Mondays belonged together.

Bummer you ended up there on a Monday, because Defiance and Augusta are great trail stops when the restaurants are open.

Hope you both don’t get hassled for camping at all in Mizzurha, since many in the state capitol are hot and bothered to make camping illegal except for designated places… Politics is a real shit show. Much love and keep on keeping on! 👍

People have been emailing me about that story a lot but I kind of figure the law is more for enforcement around cities. If they find us stealth camping somewhere they can find someway to get rid of us they don’t need another law.

There is the Buckeye Trail, the hex Trail, the international Appalachian Trail, though it’s not exactly continuous. And a bunch of others that are, however, many hundreds of miles long.

Nice one ! Question : you keep mentioning "the Rock Island Trail" in Booneville , i try to follow you guys on the "Waymarked Trails Map" and dont see this trail. The ADT keeps following the Kathy Trail till Windsor and there the Kathy Trail spilts up : one branch to Kansas City ( thats the ADT ) and a branch to Clinton . Do i miss something ??

Rock Island Trail is the name of the branch we take after Windsor. If I said Boonville I misspoke. Booneville is a package pickup for us
