So stoked on this add on. I was stuck getting it working. But I got it. I was sold on this as soon as I saw it. Blender is amazing. Awesome video.

Rlly cool add on, sometimes wonder if a grid system should be integrated into blender, including with brushes that are grid based

Clearly this addon is vastly more useful than boxcutter (aka BS cutter).

Basically sketchup. Really nice and not expensive. Probably will get it given the stuff I will be doing in the future.

+1 Gridmodeler is great! Developer (Kushiro) keeps rolling out new features as well, so show him some love!

Finally bought this amazing addon!

So many nice hard surface modeling addons for Blender. Users really have a good choice of different tools. I personally use Hardops and Boxcutter but this one also looks very interesting.

I have them both too but what sets this apart is it works in Edit mode and it's accurate with the various grid options.

I love GridModeler, and it works great along with Hops and Boxcutter. Different strengths, and they're very complementary.

This is awesome!

I immediately purchased this.

In combo with the new Primitive Interaction tool in Blender 2.92, this will be GREAT for quickie SciFi interiors. Aside from price (both Addons are reasonable), what is the difference between this and Box Cutter? Is Grid Modeler easier to use? Fewer options to worry about? Thanks!

I don't quite understand the shortcuts because my English is a little weak. What is the shortcut to growing the grid and how the grid can expand to the outside of the object. What is the shortcut to extrude and what key do we press to confirm after we have drawn on the grid.

Very goood addon

This addon is basically a must have if you like hardsurface stuff imo. Makes adding/cutting complex shapes and geometry as simple as legos but with a high degree of precision Only thing missing is a shape saving tool (paste relative grid size and paste from saved size) and a centering tool for faces or between two edges/verts

Cool addon. Hopefully it gets discounted one day or even made free 😛

On first glimpse it reminds me of q3 radiant.

A cheaper and simpler Hardops/boxcutter, it was just updated.

I need help with changing the grid size or number of grids. I am using my Mac laptop and pressing the control and scrolling doesn't do anything. I think it's because I'm using a trackpad, but I tried it with the mac mouse, and it still does nothing.

you can set the playback setting to 0.75 or 0.50 if youre having difficulty.
