If the reflections of your neon lights look grainy and pixelated its because you need to uncheck [half res trace] under the screen space reflections tab. Doing that and tweaking with the other settings should get you to where you want.

For people trying this tutorial out, another way to reduce noise is to control the distance of the outer triangular surface. The distance between the two largely controls how your reflections and noise turn out. So try scaling in and out till you get the desired results ! Edit : I also figured out that the contrast and gamma can also play a huge role so you might wanna tweak those as well.

Thanks for the tutorial. I'm a little late with all this cause I took a 4 year break and feels like I am having to learn everything all over again lol. I did run into a problem with the seamless loop though and I am thinking it has something to do with the materials randomness. At the very end of the animation it sort of studders. Either way you are a great teacher and make some awesome looking stuff. Thank you again.

A bit late, but another thing that would be cool on this is to have the colors change as you're going through. I'm not sure about this, but I think you can have a keyframe on the base color/emission property, so you can make it fade between colors.
