If the reflections of your neon lights look grainy and pixelated its because you need to uncheck [half res trace] under the screen space reflections tab. Doing that and tweaking with the other settings should get you to where you want.

0:28 in menu "Add cylinder" change "Cap fill type" to nothing. 1:09 for this one u can tap Ctrl + R and regulate the nuber of cuts with mouse wheel 6:52 u can also tap S and Shift + Z to exclude the Z axis and type the scale that u want

Honestly this was the most straightforward tutorial. You covered all the buttons you're pressing, kept the video length down, and nothing was drawn out. I wish all tutorials were this perfect
I'm currently obsessed with making synthwave music, so this channel is a goldmine🙌 Thanks for all the tutorials, my dude.
Now this is a good tutorial! To the point without explaining too much or leaving out important steps. Subscribed!
This is the very first thing I've ever made in blender or any 3d software for that matter. It took me about an hour and a half in real time but it was super satisfying watching my final render. Thanks for the tutorial!

sick tutorial, quick and concise but still covering the important details well. and very cool flashy looking results, great job!
You do these so fast! (I'm not telling you to slow down. I'm just impressed. )
i love how you give out tutorials its honestly amazing and helps me learn so much
I love that these tutorials are only around 10 minutes long, that way when I end up with a failure that looks nothing like what it should it isn't a huge waste of time.
Umm can you do one of those Sci-fi city scapes inspired from Tokyo, NYC and others

It also looks amazing to add a spin to it! (rotating the camera 360° from first to last frame)
Thanks for the videos. Been using blender for only a few weeks now and have learned a lot by watching your stuff.
This was a great tutorial. For some reason. I find it very hard to follow tutorials, but youre style helps me and thats valuable to me. Thank you.
You blew my mind as soon as you made the cylinder a triangle. I don't know why that never crossed my mind!

this video was awesome, I kinda forgot about blender but now I want to go back and mess around with 2.8. (I also subscribed because I really like the tutorials you make, really really good videos) thank you!
Holy crap, that looks amazing. Will have to try that right now! Thanks, Nate! 🤩
Fast, easy & simple. Thanks dude, I can’t wait to use this on my next video!
so much fun to following your tutorials! thanks
This is really dope thank you I had alot of fun making this!
This was super cool to replicate and easy to follow. Thank you!
Love this. Im going to try to do this my self but mess around this other shapes.
Nice one! Made it in like 1h and it looks perfect :) Had some problems with the looping, but figured it out!
thanks man, this tutorial is great that I have learned a thought on this kind of animotion. Huge thanks!
I'm new to 3D, so for me the very idea of creating an abstract animation by modeling and dollying was pretty cool. Kind of makes me think of Trumbell/Kubrick building the slit scan camera for the star gate in 2001...only in software :).
Thank you so much for showing this to us! Amazing effect!
This is the best tutorial for newbies like me!! Thank you Nate :D
That was wonderful, great work! X
Truly amazing content. I'm sure it took you years to build up all this knowledge and we can learn it in a few minutes now.
Your tutorials AMASING!!
Simple and cool!
Hats off, so perfect!
thank you somuch, you even show from start to render tha's really helpful
One thing I would recommend is adding the keystrokes so beginner users that don't know the hotkeys can follow along much better. Other than that, this was a great video in my opinion! I may use it for my stream now :D

Awesome tutorial. Started learning Blender with this tutorial.
you don't need to change the interpolation animation settings in preferences, if you just select the key frames and click t, you can choose which interpolation type you want
This is really good. Me make a sci-fi into for my area 51 raid vlog.
I love the videos man. Thanks for all the information

looks really cool
Render in progress...thank you so much bro:X
thanks ! done it perfectly !
You deserve more subs!
cool, hope i see more on this from you
For people trying this tutorial out, another way to reduce noise is to control the distance of the outer triangular surface. The distance between the two largely controls how your reflections and noise turn out. So try scaling in and out till you get the desired results ! Edit : I also figured out that the contrast and gamma can also play a huge role so you might wanna tweak those as well.
New blender... so nice.
BRILLIANT!
Another fast easy tutorial my guy
Thanks for the tutorial. I'm a little late with all this cause I took a 4 year break and feels like I am having to learn everything all over again lol. I did run into a problem with the seamless loop though and I am thinking it has something to do with the materials randomness. At the very end of the animation it sort of studders. Either way you are a great teacher and make some awesome looking stuff. Thank you again.
Amazing, thanks
I am so glad I understand everything and not following it blindly
A bit late, but another thing that would be cool on this is to have the colors change as you're going through. I'm not sure about this, but I think you can have a keyframe on the base color/emission property, so you can make it fade between colors.
Wow, perfect!
Love it !
ohh i was waiting for this
Pretty cool, thanks for inspiration! 👍 Last time I tried Blender after some longer while it was like half year ago when Eevee was in beta and kept crashing quite often. Perhaps I could give it a try once again since it seems they've finally released a stable version.
Thanks for good tutorial.
Awesome Man......
Great works and have been following your 5-6 tutorials. For even shorter videos you may try to duplicate after first duplicate by Shift+R. You most probably know that but for those of you who might be overwhelmed by duplicate process (such as me) can try that. Keep it up :)
awesome tutorial!
6:00 just click 1 or 3 on your numpad so you view from the y axis then add the camera click g, y hold down control and then move the camera
I like the guy who said nice bro
This would look great as a beat saber platform

This is awesome. I don’t have blender cuz my laptop can’t Handel it so in one month I get a new one🤗🤗
1st attempt I some how managed to have the wireframe on the outside somehow and had to reset everything from scratch but once I was able to get to where I was I think it came out great! used blue and orange :)
this is COOL!!!
You very fast uploading video thank you
Thanks. Tutorial 👌
O really this is very helpful for me
I'm fairly sure you don't have to click apply... although there is an equally good chance I'm wrong. Don't know how the face selection part would work with it still open to change.
You are my hero!
only recently have i decided to switch to 2.8 eevee but it was worth it
thanks guy nice tutorial
