if someone has troubles with ground sensors, it's maybe because you set shinkwrap to the nearest surface point, you need to replace it with project. i don't know why but nearest surface point isn't working for me maybe it's because i have newer 4.1 version of rigacar addon

Just a little doubt (i'm Noob) ... After adding texture to the Road (30:00), when I tried moving the road to position of the car and camera, the Path and the CAR are also moving... Please help. Although the tutorial is great.

I added the three image textures after activating the wrangler but the plane is still gray and no texture... please help😢

Someone here who actually purchased the course. I feel like the course itself is a little more detailed and in depth than the already great tutorials here on youtube. Everything is arranged in 3 Chapters from the basics of Blender, getting nice enviroments to show off your car, all the way to recreating "The Ride" and being able to make your own animation. If you ever run into any issues, he will always be there for you, helping you out on discord ( almost 24/7 LOL) which is a big benifit. I usually don't buy courses, masterclasses or coachings but in that case i don't regret it at all. I gained a lot of knowledge in just a couple days without even trying Blender before, and supported someone that i feel like, is extremely passionate about this. So if you wanna get it, don't hesitate to do so. I would have given up already if i didn't buy it. I'm pretty sure.

Hi! Thank you so much for a fantastic tutorial! Quick question on what I think is an issue with the ground sensors on the rigacar; as soon as I lower the strength on my displacement modifier on the road, the ground sensors seem to create an offset between the car and the road (i.e. the car is sitting lower on the z-axis due to the road targets on the ground sensor, such that the wheels are dipping just below the surface of the road). I've tried applying all transforms to my road, but no luck. Any ideas for how to fix this? Thanks so much!!

What worked for me was in the ground sensor, where it says Shrinkwrap Type, change from "Nearest Surface Point" to "Project". Note: in the first Ground Check (Sensor. Axle.Ft) leave it as it is in the video, in the others you are going to apply the changes I said before. In theory this should fix the problem.

When i use the Rigacar to add ground sensors it puts my car way above the path but its only when i apply the axle sensors any solutions?

great introduction to car animation, 4.1 issue here, when in object mode, the car animation keyframes disappear, making it impossible to bake, i tried making object mode keyframes and had got a python error, is the bake possible in 4.1 vers? thanks.

fixed this problem. Just downloaded an older version of blender (3.0 to be exact) idky rigacar doesnt work correctly with the newest version of blender

i really appriciate your work, thank you! just one problem im stuck with: for me the fixed addon file still doesnt work on my Blender 4.0 . i got 3.4 for the rigging and it worked but when i export the fbx of the rigged car and import it in Blender 4.0 the generated Rig turns into huge Bones all over the place. i would reaally appriciate your help:)

@@JeanYanb i followed the steps from your car rigging tutorial. but i found a version that worked on github. but that one only rigged, wheels rotation and steering didnt work so i got even another one where that works. i need to switch between the two versions for each thing. kinda lame but im very happy it works and happy for your great value!

I think I know where is the problem. In the "Bone constraints" properties => blue bone, I have selected "follow curve" that's why I had this 2D car. Just disable this options and the car will restore his 3D aspect

PLEASE SAVE AS YOU GO GUYS!!!! SAVE MULTIPLE FILES AT EACH POINT IF YOUR SCARED OF MESSING UP SO YOU HAVE A POINT TO GO BACK TO AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO START ALL THE WAY AT THE BEGINNING!!
