Well, here is the second part of the gothic stained glass window tutorial. This one will teach you how to create basic god rays that will really bring your scenes to life through lighting. If you did not do the first tutorial, don't worry. I have also included all the 3D Tudor on-screen animations in this tutorial.

    the part that i covered in the cube just goes really dark and I cant find out what I'm doing wrong any ideas

    Way too long video for just creating a metacube with a volumetric shader. I think most of the viewers already have a scene set up and are just looking how to create godrays. Also, you say that 32x32px or 64x64px is good for GPU and 256x256px or 512x512pc is for CPU. Since I'm watching tutorials, I always have been told that it's actually the opposite. Bigger tile size for GPU and smaller for CPU. Thank you for the video, though :)

    Hey Rezzi you may know what a metacube is with a shader but that doesn't mean everyone does especially if you are new to Blender. The other thing you need to take into account is there will be less mistakes if we build the scene which means less frustration from subs. Finally the GPU / CPU argument I don't think is resolved and personally i have found the other way quicker. Thanks for the comments hope i explained my reasoning :)
