@@yami122 she is stronger than shunsui. according to bleach data book, her power is 540/600 while shunsui is 530/600. (and aizen and yama is on par at 560/600)

@@mynamejack8875 those numbers mean little yamas 560/600 is way more then anothers 540/600 even the databook states that its just the spread of ones skills not total number yama was WAY more then 10 points above her or 20 above shunsui shunsui was her boss and was stated by yama as being the top 2 captains (him and ukitake) other then himself(aizens power being unknown as of said statement)

I absolutely LOVE the shot of all the characters as well as the sound design. Kido is such a damn cool part of Bleach I wish was explored and used more

I always loved the incantations in bleach whenever they use kido or techniques

though bleach ofc suffered some pacing issues, to this day I’m still floored by how well they built tension in this arc, both through the manga and the anime. this scene had me at the edge of my seat during my latest rewatch. shiro sagisu’s music and the stellar voice acting rlly brought the ss arc scenes to a different level (I can’t say it’s better bc kubo’s paneling was crazy good in this arc).

i gèt goosebumps everytime i watch this and everytime isane do this high level bakudo type. unohana is a master of kido. so i should say isane is as well a master of kido

That's why isane is promoted as captain, she is well-versed in all types of kido especially in kaido.

I wish we could get to see more of Isane. She became captain of the 4th Division and we don't even know what her shikai do, much less her bankai(and I suppose she had one because I'm pretty sure this is one of the requirements to be captain in Soul Society).

@@isaaclee3322 no, it wasn't. The only Division where this is applied is the 11th Division because of the Kenpachi system. There's no mention of this happening in any other Division.

@@isaaclee3322 11th division is quite special, they dont rely on bankai, its all swordsmanship and reiatsu, basically u gotta be a blood thirsty individual.

out of all the captains, i think only unohana have the slightest suspicion about aizen even under the influence of suigetsu. along with yama-ji, unohana is included to aizen's list where he needs countermeasures (ex. wonderweiss) incase she decides to face her.

He needs countermeasure for Unohana…… where did you read this, or you just making shit up? Unohana posed no threat to Aizen or Ywach in any way shape or form. Aizen without hogyoku is stronger than her in every field, sword fighting, raw strength, reiatsu etc., plus his KS can kill her in a second.

Yes. It’s one of my favorite moments in the whole series. I replay it even to this day.

This is the part where Yamamoto realize what happened 110 years ago and Urahara was NOT the traitor.

At last i was so curious about this spell and what its really do...so this spell was the spell of information....that explain alot why it was rarely used

I have a observation, I think all Shinigami carry along with other traditional war equipment some Sumi Ink (traditional Japanese block ink) for the use in incantation of Tentenkura but in Tybw we see Rangiku Matsumoto use her in own blood in an emergency for the ritual of drawing it and performing, this shows that some Squads might not have the same Standardised gear... also shows that since Matsumoto didn't need the full incantation, she has gotten stronger...

Whos here from the latest Unohana Reveal? Damn her sword really be that curved and long

1:26 So she told everyone the following: 1) That Captain Aizen is alive and he faked his own death. 2) That Aizen is a traitor that killed Central 46, defeated Toshiro and almost killed Momo. 3) That Aizen has a Shikai that puts anyone that saw his Shikai release under perfect hypnosis without their knowledge. This is how he faked his death and why nobody noticed that Central 46 was dead. 4) That Gin and Kaname are also traitors working for Aizen. 5) And that all three traitors are at Sokyoku Hill. If u analyze this scene carefully, this is the proof that Unohana could activate her zanpakotou without calling out its name….notice the sudden green glow as she draws out her blade…..i think only Aizen is shown to be able to do the same…… This is the moment where Unohana quietly saves Soul.S from complete destruction….

Any captain can do that, this is proven when Renji releases his Shikai against Byakuya, when he does so, Byakuya is surprised and realizes he has achieved Bankai

Its crazy how back then people downplay Unohana and think how Aizen did not just killed here there, now that TYBW existed. People realize that Unohana is overpowered

No she can’t. Unohana is strong but Aizen is stronger. Aizen wasn’t worried about Unohana and he clearly knew of her power. Only Yamamoto could beat Aizen in a straight up fight without Kyoka Suigetsu. But with Kyoka Suigetsu even Yama couldn’t win against Aizen.

But...idk...to me normal Aizen doesnt seem that strong...probably Unohana or Kyoraku could take him down with big effort, and Soi Fon, Ukitake and Zaraki being not able to do that because Soi Fon has to be in close range to finish him, Ukitake is sick and Zaraki doesnt use his brain. Yama would beat him no doubt. But maybe I'm biased because one thing I really cant stand in Bleach is Aizen being randomly strong without Hogyoku...

@@Allen-lb4ky So are you forgetting that Aizen destroyed Kyoraku with no effort while fighting 6 other Captains and multiple Lieutenants? Are you forgetting that Unohana arrived in Fake Karakura town and not only was Aizen not remotely worried, but she didn’t even try to attack him? Kyoraku couldn’t even beat Stark without help from 3 other Captains. Aizen could defeat Stark singlehandedly with ease. Kyoraku isn’t close to Aizen in power. And Aizen is not randomly strong. Is Yamamoto and Unohana “randomly” strong? It makes perfect sense that eventually another Shinigami would be born that would rival Yama in power. He was a fool to think it wouldn’t happen. Aizen is a smart character that used his insane reiatsu and deceitful Zanpakuto to his advantage.

@@SunlightGwyn Aizen killed all those captain, thats true, but that was a particular situation. Toshiro was struck down by him after Hinamori was stabbed, and all the captains were shocked by that, so they rushed towards Toshiro, to strengthen his attack or to save him, I dont know, but they were obviously not concentrated, and Aizen took advantage of that. Thats because Kyokasuigetsu is an extremely powerful zanpakuto, which is also the reason why Aizen won the duel with Shinji. His zanpakuto was simply more powerful. Aizen seemed relaxed even in front of Unohana, but you cant tell if he was just pretending or he was really not worried. You can agree with me when I say that Aizen is a master actor and deceiver. About the other things, I think that Kyoraku was playing with Stark, and he understood too late that his opponent was not to underestimate. He made a foolish mistake. I also believe, tho, that he would have ultimately won even without the help of the other captains, but I agree when you say that was a very bad play from Kyoraku. But, really, when did Aizen beat down Stark easily? I cant remember. I know that he could beat Stark, but I dont remember such thing. Plus, I really cant agree when you say that Aizen is the new shinigami-prodigy like Yamamoto is. Yamamoto's skill is contantly praised, he won countless battles against very powerful enemies...and it really doesnt look like his reiatsu has anything in common with normal Aizen's one. If I had too choose a Shinigami in service (excluding division 0 and Yama) to confront Aizen, due to the fact that Kyoraku's zanpakuto is imo in great disadvantage against Kyokasuigetsu, as well as Ukitake's (which is, as said, sick too), I'd choose Unohana. Her experience on the battlefield, immense mastery with kido, versatility and bankai would make an incredibly opponent for Aizen, and would probably beat him. Her basically useless shikai would be compensated by the formidable fighter she is.

Why is it that when a shinigami uses tenteikura, the first reaction being shown is jushiro ukitake? Everytime, from the soul society arc to the thousand year blood war.

I’m not exactly early to the party but I wonder how does an incantation get its meaning across cause there are some lines in the incantation that are just words unrelated to the function or look of the kido

No, she just released Minazuki to heal them up and transport them to safety. Its actually something many fans overlook, but... she was so confident in her ability and Aizen was so scared of her... that she released her blade knowing there was a small chance he was still nearby watching them. But in truth, Aizen was so unsure he would defeat her, he fled. It was the first hint to how disgustingly powerful she was. 🤭

@@xare2763 At this point in the series, no. She would've washed him in seconds. Even in TYBW arc...she could've technically handled his Hogyoku form as Minazuki's bankai form is essentially a form of granted immortality for those in it. So there's very little he could've done against her. Especially given that she could counter kyoka by being fine with being cut.

The funny thing is Aizen could have stopped this message from being sent out by either killing Unohana and Isane (no Unohana is not stronger than Aizen) or he could have simply turned off everyone’s ability to hear the message with Kyoka Suigetsu.
