Uryuu WAS the last known Quincy. The Wandenreich was hiding in a pocket dimension for the last thousand years, and Yamamoto hadn’t realized Juhabach wasn’t dead, because things aren’t supposed to survive his Bankai.

Admittedly I'm someone who knows most stuff about "Anime" and "Manga" through second-hand sources like abridged/nutshell series, and I've certainly *heard* of "Bleach" before (not just as a cleaning product), but someone is going to have to give me some kind of explanation for this "Big Three" thing because I would have put my money on the "Big Three" being, say, "Dragonball", "One Piece", and "Naruto". And other leading candidates might have been the likes of "Evangelion", "Gundam", or "Sailor Moon". But "Bleach" would not have made the list.

The Big Three was a term used to describe the three most popular running series during their golden age in Jump's mid 2000s period - One Piece, Naruto and Bleach. The nickname "The Big Three" came about due to their immense worldwide popularity and length. With that, they were always featured in front of the shared Shonen Jump covers and always had bigger images for their main protagonists: Luffy, Naruto and Ichigo. All three series ran for at least 15 years and 70 volumes, and all three overlapped in publication from 2001-2014.

The big 3 are not an opinion, it is a fact, the big 3 are the 3 best-selling mangas of the 2000s, it was Naruto, Bleach and One Piece who saved the shonen jump from bankruptcy after its golden age that it had with mangas like dragon ball and slam dunk, there will never be a new big 3.

@@solomoneom7665I guess you didn’t watch anime growing up. In here where I live, everyone knows Naruto, Bleach and One Piece (yes, in that order) as Big Three. Dragon Ball is worshipped also, but no anime is confused with Big Three. Almost everyone in the time when I was growing up in the mid to high school were talking only about Big Three’s newest episodes pretty much all the time.
