I never seen anyone sacrificing as much as gin did for a cause. Even though he failed miserably. He forfeited every thing. Just like Itachi he accepted hatred in place of love , disgrace in place of honor but didn't die with a smile on his face. Makes it even more sadder than itachi' death.

Itachi had a more sad death my guy gin chose to be a "villan" while itachi only ever had 1 choice.. just because itachi succeeded in all his goals doesnt make his death any better it just makes him a legend like he is. If gin had a better approach he wouldve succeeded and died with a smile, proud and satisfied like itachi was. Ill put it like this gin had hundreds of years of life while itachi died at 21 and slaughtered the uchiha at 14...need i say more? Itachi just went out a legend that was completely satisfied and proud in his death. I like gin but my boi itachi had it worse.

Bleach was a better manga/anime because of Gin. His story in the end was simply tragic. He had the appearance of a snake, but the heart of a giant.

I just wish that at least Gin did something or talked more in the Arrancar arc. Tosen did get to do something at least by cutting Grimmjow arm off but Gin? He is just a background character in those arc. He'll only make major appearance in Arrancar enclopedia

Ichimaru Jin Matsumoto Rangkyo is a story that ended with an ending that no one wished for 🥀

i would say it works both ways, breaking a bond may be harder than forming it cuz if you know someone you would need to have your memory deleted to not miss them
