Being fair, Naoto has been getting railed on by Rachel's condescending attitude since they met, and she's very similar to Raquel. He only reacted because even after taking down a god with Ragna, they don't even get a thanks for contributing cleaning up some of the mess. One that Rachel put them in from the start, and then Hazama screwed things up that continued the mess. And they still have their attitudes that still act like they don't really own up to the responsibility of their actions and still have the nerve to complain, which would definitely annoy and anger at least most people in Ragna's and Naoto's position.

It’s surprising and impressive how much presence Ragna can wield. We’re all so used to him being the punching bag POV character, but after Naoto fills that role for most of the story, in comes Ragna to steal the show, all eyes on him, and he doesn’t even break a sweat. Good work, Ragna

It's kinda funny how Naoto's out of breath after beating what's supposedly a 3% Susan clone. And Ragna's just like "Wow that wasn't even real." It makes me wonder when exactly they got pulled from their timelines. End of CF Ragna was basically equal to Susan/Terumi and capable of commanding the Master Unit, but I remember at the end of even just CP Ragna was able to 1v1 Takemikazuchi w/Blazblue and Nu without it.

It has to be before the end of the CF. Anyway, Ragna does not match in Susanoo, it just happens that having won a soul (Yuuki Terumi) is vulnerable to Soul Eater from Ragna and Hihiirokane, which is what they used in the end to separate Terumi and the Susanoo unit. Ragna is comparable in power to Terumi.

It feels like they got pulled from different points. Like Naoto got grabbed just before he was sent to the future or maybe not long after, hence why he didn't recognize Celica, Ragna or even Rachel. Meanwhile we have another ending where Ragna already knows who Es is so he's at least from partway through CF. My memories on the final fight in CF are kinda fuzzy. I kinda remember Ragna fighting Susan about equally. I remember for sure that Terumi stated he could've overtaken the Black Beast in terms of power if he had the chance to feed on enough hatred, so that always seemed to me like Susan was still a bit below. And Ragna forced both Blazblue and Idea Engine to their limits putting him pretty close to transforming completely into the Black Beast. Jin did fight Susan a little bit before that but Jin's body was about to be destroyed. I do at least remember that the majority of end of CF Ragna's power came from absorbing everyone else's possibilities, and Susan had Noel in the armor but I don't remember if that gave him any special buff in terms of fighting power. But yeah, you're right, Ragna with just Blazblue/Idea Engine is probably a tier or two lower and doesn't match Susan, not without the plot buff.

A lot of People say the story of BBTAG is not cannon to any of the series. Saying it’s own continuity, that way the writers of the story can do more without having to deal with Lore issues. I mean there are 7 endings in episode 1. So it would make sense the story at this point is non-canon and more of a gag reel of sorts. (That’s what I say.)

This was such a dumb, and pointless, waste of time. It's exactly what I wanted, and I loved it. I'm glad they realise, no one is gonna take a story mode for a cross over, seriously, and have some fun with it. I'm really glad it was all dubbed. It was great to hear characters we never got to see in english from Central Fiction, UNI and so on. They all sounded really good, especially Yuzuriha.

Yosuke: Wait, wait, hold up. Where’s Kanji & Naoto in all of this? Hyde: Now that you mentioned it, I don’t see Harada or Vatista anywhere either. Ragna: The hell you’re talking about? Did we actually forgot som- shit, not “her”....

I’m not gonna lie. I really love this ending. It gets me hype to see all these characters in the same place to duke it out. But also it actually gives an in game reason why these characters are still fighting, even after story mode. Its kind of meta in way. I mean if the player doesn’t battle, these characters won’t go home. Way to break the fourth wall.

If you've played BlazBlue Central Fiction, then Ragna facing Susano'o should feel familiar to you. So Ragna and Naoto share the same bloodline seeing the same hairstyle both of them have. And Naoto has Bloodedge which is Ragna's Last Name.

For once, there's an actual in game canon reason for vs mode to exist.

Just finished this episode, and yeah, loved it, a lot of goofy dumb fun that didn't take itself too seriously. Loved all the interactions too.

So pretty much: Hazama's lonely and wanted to see his enemies beat the crap out of his ex and then decided to just keep everyone there with him by lying about the system needing them to fight (cause it was still him doing the system voice at the end)? I think i'm little lost (- . -) though I do love this story!

Am I the only one who thought that the Susano'o was a joke for a final boss? He was easier than fighting the System herself, and I've managed to beat her in all four story modes on my first try.

Well, this version of him *is* an actual in-universe joke compared to the actual GoD. Devs probably just put a normal in-game version of him instead putting a buffed one just to save time or something, after all, that’s literally every fight against one guy, they die too quick.

@@etam8099 Yeah, kind of a joke if you compared to the other bosses in Central Fiction like Nine and Izanami let alone comparing trying to fight Unlimited versions of Nine, Izanami and Ragna.

Aftermath: after countless hours of Tag Battles, our heroes are finally ready to go home, only for System to commit an oopsie of her own by detecting 3 more worlds and leading everyone astray and for the next story mode to become one giant reenactment of G Gundam

I have to respect Hazama and I respect him for admitting that he made a mistake. Even though Ragna and Naoto can never forgive Hazama, I forgive him for messing up. Deep down, Hazama feels a little insecure.

Wow. I think this was more enjoyable than the first story mode.

It was at this moment that Hazama knew he messed up.

I personally think Mu-12 should have been in the game so she could have a shot at fighting Susano'o. Mu-12 was labeled as the "Sword of the Godslayer" who Terumi himself summoned to destroy the Sankishin Amaterasu so it would have been epic if she destroyed Susano'o.

Honestly I really wish all the characters have the same level of their powers in that world. That way we could see Susanoo in Story more often, would be fun to see him interact with more characters and can’t do anything about it. Lol

Hazama continues his streak of doing nothing wrong.

2:07 SUSANO'O!!!!!!

Feels weirdly unintentional that this ending is similar to Dissidia NT. That the contestants were brought to a world where battles keep the world alive or etc. Like a comedic jab at that premise or so on

So Episode 2 wad made by that ending were Hazama has the Blue Chaos Emerald because Ragna was too trusting

Seeing Ragna jump in gave me hype somehow.

I feel the final battle could've been improved by making it a three round fight and upping Susano'o's stats. You literally fight him two on one with Kurogane (using last name cause of course they put Naoto Kurogane and Naoto Shirogane in the same game) and Ragna, meanwhile the stats are the exact same for Susano'o and the AI too. And the ending is great basically just like "Well, we still can't get home but most of the other problems are more or less solved. Let's at least have some fun till we figure a way back!"

Now, I'm convinced that they gonna add more "FunRaising" characters into BBTag... God, when we're gonna get that BlazBlue Sequel?

Also I wouldn't worry about continuity because the BB Tag story destorys the other continuities for every franchise involved with got they're rules are supposed to work. @@noi641 nah just this has the 2 timeline it before the central fiction and after the central fiction because 1st) hazama his not 100% dead because his successfully avoiding the void remember that hazama ending in central fiction?yeah 2nd) this event is from after the central fiction because there is no way hazama could control that susanoo with no soul in it even it's 3% of the power 3rd)bad ending from this game(blazblue side) hazama got the gem so that means the game is still going but now it's on hazama control so this could be explain as the true ending to the whole story of blazblue (for now) 4th)because hazama successfully separate his body from terumi because that event it's only happen on centralfiction so that's what is going on here 4th)did we see terumi as playable character?nope(not for now)only susanoo even that he only just a skin ya know 5th)and this chapter happen after the terumi death and that ragna episode is before the terumi death so that's happen

This ending was quite interesting. I loved how almost every fighter appeared at the end, clueless about what happened. And the conversation between Naoto and Ragna was a very epic way to close the story. I mean, Susano'o went down like he was nothing (and barely had any lines), but at least they made good use of him. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
