Hey did you know there are mites living on your face at all times? They eat your dead skin and you can never get rid of them. Showering will get rid of some but they come right back in about a day :)

I can just imagine Celeste walking in and seeing her brother on the floor having a panic attack because the insects are everywhere.

That clip of that bee was also from that episode even though when that butterfly was flying around and got close and shown that clip, it didn’t look like a butterfly at all, it looked like a bee.

I believe the player learns about Blather's entomophobia in I think either wild world or city folk when you donate a Mantis. But here's the real question, that incident would have made him scared of Mantises, so did something like that happen with every bug or was there another thing that contributed to that fear of insects?

Fun fact: The "butterfly" in the close-up is not, in fact, a butterfly. It's actually a horsefly, which is infinitely more terrifying. Butterfly faces still look weird as hell, though.

I’m a biology major specializing with animals and a special interest in evolutionary biology. I’m also afraid of butterflies because of the EXACT clip from spongebob that you used in this video. Blathers is basically my spirit animal.

I don’t have a fear of spiders, but butterfly’s... it scares me.

Blather gets so scared when I donate him bugs and he starts shaking but at the end he is like "th-thanks for the donation"

You'd think that if Blathers is really as scared of bugs as he says he is, that he'd try to keep them all in tanks, but instead he chooses to let them roam the hallways of the museum he lives in. Who knows how many of them crawl onto him while he's sleeping during the day. He doesn't seem like he's actually all that bright.

That is why I try to give him multiple things at a time so he isn't to scared handling a bug. Is shit if they are multiple bugs!

This is what Blathers thinks is gonna happen when you give him a frickin *butterfly*

I want to fill the outside of the museum with spiders and watch blathers hyperventilate

The only thing I give him is bugs I can’t catch fish
