In UK , XShot are great with releases, get all the new lines as they come out. Nerf Rival is like hunting unicorns, get limited supplies of old range blasters, occasionally. Interesting about rounds difference, had XShot down as decent replacement since Headshot quality fell apart.
Great comparison! The Forerunner always gave me Helix vibes. Never thought about comparing it to the Orbit/Ragequit. Great idea, Brad.
That’s an excellent comparison I hadn’t thought of!
Great comparison! Aesthetically I'd prefer the X-Shot 🤗 and a big plus for X-Shot is that they make lower performance versions to make them available here in Germany 🤟
for me, it's the orbit, the deal breaker being the unjamming switch, the one on mine works so well that it's an instant shotgun switch and in a gamemode with HP it has come in pretty handy
Well done Brad! Touché! My take? X shot products along the whole lineup in any ammo hits harder, shoots straighter (ya right), is cheaper, funkier, n jus as fun as Hasbro stuff. I do wish they would expand their selection in the rival arena though.
5:35 What the dog doing? 🤔 Good comparison Brad my dude! I wish we could get the accurival rounds in higher quantities.

One of the neighbors dogs in this case. My chocolate lab almost NEVER makes a sound. But they sure do bark at mine when they’re outside. Lol.

@@AmericanFoam I can relate I have a lab mix myself lol
IIRC the first batch of the blue Orbits have the issue with the Nerf HIR compatibility, which was solved in later releases. The Royale, full gold influencer edition and Faze variant don't have the issues as far as I can see.

I can confirm that my blue Orbit can't fire Nerf HIRs with any level of reliability or power for love or money. That chased me off the whole line. Good to know they fixed it.

@@Jackalblade9 yeah, my cousin thrifted a blue one and I wasn't sure if it was going to have the issues or it was the later blue one, and unfortunately it farts out balls sometimes.

Dang. The faze clan one and whatever pieces I have in my modded one seems to be better at least. Im glad they’re making improvements.
I think they both are great blasters. I really like the X Shot Chaos rounds. I have three Orbits and all of them have 14kg Longshot springs in them and average 135 fps. They are very accurate with the Chaos and new Rival rounds. I think because mine are hitting the hop up harder, they are getting the backspin I want. The original Orbits you had to remove the AR to get them to fire regular yellow Rival rounds. I got in a habit with the Orbits of flipping open the jam door when empty and loading one in the chamber, then 14 up top. Chaos rounds work great in my Forerunner. It is a very consistently accurate blaster with any rounds I load in. I like this comparison!
Xshot orbit for life. One of my favorite blasters.
Nice! Just wish you went over ergonomics a bit, the hand feel. Coop & Welcome both discuss handle sizes & while mine are closer to Coop's, I appreciate both talking about it. I like the look of the Nerf's pump, the rear lip is almost like an afg, no chance of sliding off from fatigue. Great comparison video!
Thanks for the comparison! Initial batches of the original blue Meteor and Orbit did have issues with Nerf's Rival rounds (check out Coop's initial review), but that should have been fixed years ago.
Been hoping for something like this!
Hi Brad, another Brit here and Adam Aglionby is correct, X-Shot seems to be a bit easier to find and sooner after release in England. As a result I picked up an Orbit and Meteor at the same time. I found the Orbit hit like a laser hitting the target more often than not. I since bought a second Orbit cos I liked it that much. Nice to see how it compares against the new Nerf. Thanks.

Fellow Brit here. Can you ever find DZ blasters anywhere?

i asked coop for this from my other account, but since you're asking for ideas for content, how about a tier list of your best blaster for each class of play? stock, superstock, ultrastock, etc.
I like both blasters. The Ragequit is unique in its rear loading. Unlike the blue Orbit, the Ragequit doesn’t have ammo compatibility issues. If the main grip felt more stable this blaster would be near perfect. The facts it’s been on sale for $15 is just a bonus. I think the Forerunner is a solid blaster. I don’t love the shape or texture of the pump grip. It’s very accurate though. The colors are great. The top needs a rail to break up the blue. Etsy has some nice options for this blaster.
If to pick between the two, I would go with the X-Shot. If I’m being totally honest, I would still probably go with a Takedown over these. Thanks for the comparison!
Thanks for the comparison video...really like the Orbit, (don't have a Forerunner)but for pump action I think I prefer the Saturn over the Orbit.👍Thanks Brad .💥🔫🤠
I like the Meteor more than the Chronos, so maybe I should grab the Orbit. I really like the loading mechanism and I think that is where this wins out.

It’s pretty slick. Plus popping that lock out and being able to double and triple load is so easy.

Absolutely grab a meteor, IMO. Aside from the DuelStrike, it's definately my favorite pistol.
The Forerunner also had a lot less wind, which WOULD affect accuracy, just based on the sound of the shooting footage. The X-shot sounded like the wind was 2-3 times stronger.
Im liking the forerunner. My local canadian tire has the new rival balls on clearance 50 for 10 cdn, along with mega xl , I've been stocking up.

Nice. The new rounds are pretty decent from my experiences with them so far.
I'm with you, I have the Ragequit along with all of last years Accu-HIR blasters. I prefer the looks and loading style for the Ragequit. If the Forerunner had a stock point and top rail it might be a different story.
Lol, he says slap it! I don’t think I really like the clear but I’ve had my eye in the forerunner.
Great video. Thank you.
I couldn't get a consistent seal on my orbit and wound up returning it (some rounds would just fall out of the barrel) :(
My Helix is ahead of both given stock it holds 40 ( if you have fully explored the blaster front to back) and is right on target for every shot with included HiRs at 30 feet plus.
I like the Rival Takedown, over both of those blasters. Even though it has less ammo capacity.
Interesting!
I wonder if X-shot will come up new blasters in the "Chaos" line. So far they did the Orbit and the Meteor.

I surely hope so but they seem to be focusing on their skins line up. Maybe they’ll re”skin” the Orbit and the Meteor. 😂 hope they start making new stuff again though.
My Meteor performs better than my Orbit. The red X-Shot ball rounds get a nice up-spin from the Meteor, whereas the same rounds make a downward spin when fired from the Orbit. It might have to do with the hop-up tab. I don't know.
Does the Xshot orbit still come with a sticker sheet?
For HvZ, I'd definitely take the Orbit because you can top off with 1 already in the chamber. For most pvp, I'd take the Forerunner because it's more consistent and accurate. These opinions are based on my personal blasters, both modded up to about 120.
I could swear I had seen that the Forerunner had 20 HIR capacity. That was the only thing putting it above the Orbit. The only thing on the Orbit that I dislike is that mini butt stock that bumps against my wrist. That needs to be cut off.
