It's start from knowing your roots music , maskandi Is a Zulu music folk rock type but African , many of them are good in vocal , so when they start understand other genres they merge their culture to new music like afropop ,soul , hip hop and Amapiano , many Zulus who sing maskandi are super talented, that why we see every genre ,from Pop to house music , we got expose to electronic music at our younger age , we understand every sector of music but merge it with our culture new genres emerging , not only Zulu but Nstwan ,vendas , Afrikaner,Xhosas, pedis All have rhythm that define them .
